Maxton Hall fans, listen up! Prime Video has released a new romance drama, Love Me Love Me, and itâs perfect for fans of the YA genre. Directed by Roger Kumble (Cruel Intentions), the English-language Italian original follows a 16-year-old girl who, after the death of her brother, makes a fresh start at an elite international school in Milan.
The movie is based on Italian writer Stefania Sâs debut novel, which became a viral sensation after racking up more than 24 million reads on the storytelling app Wattpad. The book is also the first in a four-part series.
After landing on Prime Video on 13 February, Love Me Love Me has been storming the charts and is currently sitting at the number one spot for most-watched movies globally.
Fans of My Life with the Walter Boys, My Fault and Finding Her Edgewill want to tune into this one. Prime Video has established itself as a go-to streamer for viral foreign-language romance dramas, including German hit Maxton Hall and Spainâs Culpables trilogy, and Love Me Love Me sounds like another must-watch for fans of angsty teen drama. The synopsis continues: âHere, she finds comfort in dating Will, the schoolâs perfect honor student. Mia Jenkins (Geek Girl) leads the film as June, while Pepe Barroso Silva (Gran Turismo) plays James and Luca Melucci (Mascarpone: The Rainbow Cake) is Will.

Speaking to Variety, Prime Videoâs Head of Local Originals Southern Europe Nicole Morganti said: âItâs a four book saga that weâve obviously optioned in full. The hope is that this one will do so well that we can continue telling this story.â
Reflecting on the filmâs unique identity, Nicole highlighted the âextremely sensual and engaging soundtrack, dreamy locations and pop-fluorescent cinematography that reflects the emotional nuances portrayed by Stefania S. in her novel.â
