As a serial makeup and TikTok addict, I’m always on the hunt for affordable beauty products that pack the same punch as high-end ones – and over the years, there is one brand that I have seen highly recommended, time and time again. Mostly known for fair-priced fashion, Primark’s beauty range is somewhat of a hidden gem on the high street, offering exceptional products at a price point that won’t compromise your bank balance.
In my personal experience of using different beauty products, I can safely say that I have been nothing but impressed by Primark’s signature PS… line in the past, with some of its products now being a core part of my everyday makeup routine. So when I first heard about the new launch of PS… Pro, the elevated upgrade of its core beauty collection, I was intrigued. After a quick Google search and reading several raving reviews on social media, I knew I had to put it to the test. Upheld as a luxury take on the original PS… range, the new collection is designed to look in-keeping with an upscaled beauty regime.
My review of the PS… Pro beauty collection from Primark
Firstly, all of the products in the range are vegan and cruelty-free which is the first big tick for me. It also includes tools, such as brushes and sponges. My absolute favourites were the PS… Pro Primer and the PS… Pro Blush. I’ve always been a bit apprehensive about priming my makeup, having grown up with a combination skin type, I’ve been conscious of primers making my skin break out. But safe to say, this little potion kept my complexion perfectly in place all day. Not only that, it made my skin look poreless and smooth, plus felt really light and fresh on the face.
I was most excited to try the new and improved powder blush. I’ve only gotten into wearing these cheek-washing products over the last year or so, so this is still a relatively new venture for me. Luckily, Primark’s one vey much lived up to my high expectations. The packaging feels very elegant, particularly with the swivel mechanism which is something I’d never seen before. Applying it with the Bronze and Blush Brush, the formula itself added the most gorgeous rosy flush to the apples of my cheeks and added some natural colour back into my skin.
As somebody with paler skin, I’m a huge fan of a softer brown liner/mascara combo for my eye makeup rather than black. The PS… Pro Felt Liner in brown is so easy to use and combined with the Lash Volume Mascara, made for a softly defined eye look that can easily be vamped up for the evening with the blendable Eyeshadow Sticks and 12 Shadow Palette.
I’ll never leave the house without some kind of lip product in my handbag, always gravitating towards deep pinky nudes. The formula of the Matte Lipstick is incredibly silky and balmy, making it ideal for every day wear. I instantly gravitated towards the your-lips-but-better plum shade. To add a bit of subtle glam, I dabbed a few spots of the Shimmer Lip Oil on top for a super glossy sheen.

What do the reviews say about Primark’s PS… Pro collection?
