Post Malone put on quite the show during the halftime segment of the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving game.
The singer, 30, performed at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Thursday, November 27.
During the performance, Malone played a medley of his most popular songs, including âWrong Onesâ and âI Had Some Help.â Malone was joined on stage by a squad of Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders as he performed âWow.â
Malone also paid tribute to late defensive end Marshawn Kneeland, who died earlier this month at age 24. The singer honored Kneeland by wearing a blue â94â pin on his jacket, referencing the late football playerâs jersey number. Malone rounded out his performance by pointing to the sky and saying, âWe love you 94.â
Earlier this month, Malone emphasized how âhonoredâ he was to perform during the Thanksgiving day game as a lifelong fan of the Cowboys.
âIâm from Texas. I grew up a Cowboys fan and have been watching this halftime show for years,â he said. âItâs a real honor to be part of the Red Kettle Kickoff with The Salvation Army and the Dallas Cowboys and help bring hope to so many people.â
The 29th annual Red Kettle Kickoff encourages fans to donate to The Salvation Armyâs efforts in communities nationwide.
âThe Red Kettle Campaign is more than a tradition â itâs a lifeline,â Cowboys co-owner Charlotte Jones said in a statement. âEvery ring of a bell is a reminder that small acts of generosity can spark real joy. Weâre proud to stand with The Salvation Army once again and are so excited for our biggest fan, Post Malone, to share his immense talent and energy with fans nationwide.â
While Malone has deep roots with the Cowboys, he also has ties to the teamâs Thanksgiving day opponent, the Chiefs. During a February 2024 episode of Travis Kelce and Jason Kelceâs âNew Heightsâ podcast, Travis, 36, revealed that Malone has tattoos dedicated to him and his teammate Patrick Mahomes.
âSo me and Pat, I donât know if you knew this, Post Malone got our signatures on his arm,â the Chiefs tight end told Jason, 38, at the time, sharing that he and Mahomes, 30, attended Maloneâs Kansas City, Missouri, concert after getting âs***facedâ at their 2020 Super Bowl victory parade.
After the show, the trio played beer pong together and made a bet that the loser would get tattoos of the winnersâ signatures.
âHe had a tattoo artist sitting right there, he just happened to be right there in the back room. We beat him, put our signatures on a piece of paper and Iâm pretty sure after the show, he went straight over to that tattoo artist and got it tattooed. Man of his word, which I f***ing respect,â Travis recalled, adding that Malone also got a tattoo of the Chiefs logo.
After the Chiefsâ 2024 Super Bowl win, Malone notably swapped his Cowboys jacket for a Chiefs one at Brittany Mahomesâ prompting during an afterparty.
Malone also has a musical connection to the Chiefs after he collaborated with Taylor Swift on âFortnight,â the lead single from her 2024 album, The Tortured Poets Department. Of course, as Travisâ fiancĂ©e, Swift, 35, is an avid Chiefs fan.
