Those who love that chicken from Popeyes have a lot to celebrate ahead of Mardi Gras.
The company announced that it has rolled out a deal for customers to enjoy their chicken sandwich for just $4 from Tuesday, Feb. 25, until March 3 — the day before Mardi Gras.
On the holiday — which is also celebrated as Fat Tuesday — customers will be able to reap the benefits of Popeyes’ happy hour menu pricing all day long, with deals starting at just $2, the company said.
The new deals come a few months after the famous chicken chain celebrated National Sandwich Day and National Fried Chicken Sandwich Day in November by giving out free sandwiches for nearly two weeks with any $10 minimum purchase through the Popeyes app.
Around the same time, Popeyes announced the release of its limited-edition Ghost Pepper Chicken Sandwich in classic or spicy. The sandwich featured chicken breast, ghost pepper sauce, pickles and a brioche bun.
They aren’t the only fast food chain upping their chicken offerings. Taco Bell also announced a new Caliente Cantina Chicken menu, which features hot versions of the Cantina Chicken tacos and burritos.

The chicken-charged crispy taco, soft taco, burrito, quesadilla and bowl all get a red-hot sauce — that gets its bright red color from red jalapeños — on the Caliente menu. Each of the Caliente Cantina Chicken options comes with a packet of Avocado Verde salsa, which is made of tomatillos, green chili peppers and avocado.
The slow-roasted chicken-focused items were an immediate success with “unmatched popularity,” according to a press release, and were in one out of every four Taco Bell orders in 2024.
For those with a sweet tooth, Dairy Queen also added a new $7 menu option, in which customers can choose between an original cheeseburger or chicken strips, pair it with full-size regular fries and a drink, and then top it off with a sundae made from their famous soft serve.
Additionally, according to an official post shared by the company on X on Feb. 13, customers have the option of swapping out the sundae for a small blizzard for $2.
The offer is available “all day every day,” as well as through the Dairy Queen rewards app.
