Pippa Middleton is a glowing goddess in thigh-skimming white dress

The polo is a sporting spectacle but also great for fashion watching and Princess Kate’s sister Pippa Middleton ensured all eyes were on her at Ham Polo Club in 2009. While Pippa isn’t in the public eye too often, one thing that can be guaranteed is she always puts on an immaculate display. We’ve seen the Princess of Wales’ sister looking stunning as a bridesmaid, and perfectly polished at Wimbledon, and in this fashion throwback, Pippa wowed at the polo. 

In 2009, Pippa, who was then 25 years old, stepped out at the Ham Polo Club to watch the Jaeger-LeCoultre Polo Charity Cup wearing an angelic dress. She posed next to Alexandra Sandbach baring her bronzed legs in the elegant dress. The satin wrap dress is believed to be by highstreet brand, French Connection. 

The design, with plunging neckline, featured black patterns and a wrap detail at the waist. Pippa paired it with summery white wedges and sunglasses on her head. Her brunette locks were worn straight and down, and aside from a bronzed glow, her make-up look was pared back.

Pippa was a big fan of mini dresses in her socialite era, often sporting them for outings – even when she entered the Royal Box at Centre Court at Wimbledon back in 2016. The brunette beauty donned a 70s-style dress with an orange and grey geometric print.

She even had a bodycon dress moment in 2013 as she attended Lady Melissa Percy’s wedding to Thomas van Straubenzee wearing a bandage dress with a peplum detail which was a telltale sign of the times.

These days, calf-length tea dresses are more Pippa’s go-to style and she wore a gorgeous  white dress from ME+EM this summer while stepping out at Wimbledon alongside her mother Carole Middleton. The red ditsy print made for an eye-catching look, and the mother-of-three added white stilettos, a J. Crew raffia clutch bag, and a boater hat to nail summer dressing. 

Pippa is married to James Matthews, a hedge fund manager and former racing driver. The couple tied the knot in May 2017 and share three children: Arthur, born in 2018, Grace, born in 2021, and Rose, born in 2022. They live in Barton Court, a sprawling, Grade II-listed 18th-century Georgian manor valued at £15 million, set across 150 acres of land in Berkshire, located close to her parents.
