Ree Drummond is on feeding duty!
On Sunday, Jan. 13, the Food Network star, 56, posted a cute video on Instagram of her giving her daughter Alex Drummond Scottâs pet pooch George cheese from her fridge while babysitting her newborn granddaughter Sofia.Â
âBabysitting Sofia (and George. đ¶đ§),â Ree wrote in the caption. âThere may be no cheese left in the morn.â
The clip began with Ree opening her fridge and pulling open a draw from inside containing a sealed bag of sliced cheese as the viral TikTok song âCheese Taxâ played over the top.Â
Ree grabbed a slice and shut the fridge door before panning the camera over to George as he sat waiting patiently behind her. She then held it over the golden retrieverâs mouth as he sniffed it and chomped away at the tasty snack.

Ree is adjusting to new life as a grandmother after the arrival of her first grandchild, baby girl Sofia, on Dec. 18.Â
Ree shared on The Pioneer Woman website in a post marking Sofiaâs first few days of life that she is now looking to move nearer to her granddaughter, welcomed by her daughter Alex and son-in-law Mauricio Scott.
âI got to stay in Dallas just long enough to fall hopelessly in love with her,â Ree wrote. âI would be lying if I said I havenât checked Zillow for houses not only on Alex and Mauricioâs street, but also on their block and actually right across the street from their house.â
Ree and her husband Ladd Drummond, 55, live five hours away in Pawhuska, Okla., from Alex, 27, and their baby grandchild in Texas. The pair also share kids Paige, 25, Bryce, 22, Jamar, 22, and Todd, 20.
âItâs sort of like when I return from a vacation in Vail, Colorado, and I start searching for houses to buy in Vail because I just donât want that vacation feeling to end,â Ree continued.
She added on her website that she is feeling âeven more profoundâ following the birth of her granddaughter. âI donât want my time with Sofia ever to end, and though neither âsecond homeâ scenario is very likely at all, a girl (and a grandmother) can sure dream,â Ree wrote.
