Pierce Brosnan’s son Paris twins with his famous dad in dashing red carpet appearance

Pierce Brosnan turned the MobLand red carpet into a family affair on Thursday as he stepped out alongside his handsome youngest son, Paris Brosnan.

The 73-year-old actor and Paris, 25, looked remarkably alike as they posed together at the London premiere of the second season of Pierce’s hit Paramount+ series.

Pierce looked every inch the former James Bond in an immaculate charcoal pinstripe double-breasted suit, teamed with a crisp white shirt and patterned black tie.

Paris opted for a more relaxed look, pairing brown corduroy trousers with a simple white T-shirt and vintage-style brown leather jacket. With his dark hair swept away from his face, the model and artist appeared to have inherited his father’s movie-star good looks.

In one particularly sweet photograph, the pair turned towards one another and exchanged smiles as they posed for photographers.

Pierce was also joined by his MobLand co-stars Helen Mirren and Tom Hardy at the event, with Helen dazzling in a floor-length silver sequined gown while Tom opted for a relaxed white ensemble. Season two of the crime drama will premiere globally on Paramount+ on September 18.

Pierce Brosnan’s close bond with son Paris

Paris is the youngest of Pierce’s five children and one of two sons he shares with his wife of 25 years, Keely Shaye Brosnan. The couple are also parents to Dylan, 29.

Despite growing up with one of Hollywood’s most recognizable leading men as his father, Paris has spoken warmly about the values Pierce instilled in him.

In a recent interview with GQ Germany, Paris revealed the most important piece of advice his father gave him was simply to “be kind to others.” He also credited his parents with encouraging him to remain authentic while forging his own career in art, modeling and film.

Pierce, meanwhile, has made it clear that he never wanted to dictate the direction his sons’ lives should take.

Speaking about Dylan and Paris in an interview with The Guardian, he said: “My boys are academic and have a creative instinct and intuition towards the arts. So I don’t try to direct them.”

That freedom appears to have paid off. Paris has modeled for major fashion houses including Dolce & Gabbana and Balmain, as well as developing a career as an artist. Dylan is a musician and filmmaker.

Growing up with James Bond as your dad

Pierce’s sons have previously offered a glimpse into what he was like away from the cameras, and it seems the suave Bond persona could occasionally make an appearance at home.

“We have the best parents you could ask for,” Dylan previously said, while Paris admitted his father was capable of becoming rather more formidable when discipline was required.

“He’s an actor, so he can get medieval real quick as he would say,” Paris joked. “We keep it pretty mellow. But he could put on an energy that was a force to be reckoned with!”

Pierce himself once described his parenting style as “more of a soft touch”, although he said there was one thing he would never tolerate from his children: lying.

Family life was deliberately kept as grounded as possible. Dylan and Paris spent much of their childhood between California and the Hawaiian island of Kauai, where they enjoyed a considerably more low-key existence away from Hollywood.

Pierce has previously described those years as giving him the opportunity to “sit quietly” with his sons, with the family painting, playing guitar and ukulele and spending time outdoors together.

Ironically, while both sons grew up around movie sets, acting was one career Pierce initially encouraged them to avoid. “Just because it’s [expletive] hard work,” he told British GQ in 2022. “It’s a cross to bear. You’re constructing and destroying yourself.”

However, Paris has since dipped his toe into the family business. He and Dylan made their feature film debuts alongside their father in the Western The Unholy Trinity after what was originally intended to be a father-and-son trip to visit Pierce on location in Montana unexpectedly resulted in both being offered roles.

Pierce later praised his sons’ natural instincts and revealed that he deliberately refrained from giving them too much acting advice. Paris, meanwhile, admitted that the experience had sparked a newfound interest in acting.
