Pierce Brosnan and Keely Shaye Smith’s son Paris issued a message to whoever is chosen to follow in his father’s footsteps in joining the 007 spy franchise, James Bond.

The 25-year-old model and actor shared his two cents on the race to find the next actor to play the beloved character after Daniel Craig returned his pistol in 2021.

Many famous faces have been thrown into the mix, including Theo James, Callum Turner, James Norton, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson; however, no one has been chosen as of yet by the famous franchise’s producers.

Pierce played the secret agent from 1995 until 2002 and starred in four of the 27 Bond films: GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough, and Die Another Day

Following his performances in Frankenstein and Wuthering Heights, Australian star Jacob Elordi, 28, was named the new frontrunner by the bookers, but has not commented on whether he will be in the next movie.

On the red carpet at Clarins’ Night of Extra soiree on the Dolby Family Terrace at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles, Paris shared his message for the next actor lucky enough to hang their name in the Bond archives.

“Wish him the best,” he told the Daily Mail while at the star-studded American event.

Paris and Pierce’s sweet relationship

Pierce and his wife Keely’s youngest son has taken a leaf out of his father’s book and has been pursuing a career in the arts as he navigates his 20s.

Paris debuted his first exhibition, a new collection titled Collective Energy, in London, and opened up about his relationship with his dad, calling him “incredible”.

The budding star said: “He’s incredible. We were just in London. I did my first debut exhibition there, and it was great. He came to support me.”

Pierce has also shown public displays of support for his son and posts about him on his personal social media accounts, resharing pictures of his life as a father.

Ahead of his art show, the star said online: “So proud of you @paris.brosnan ‘COLLECTIVE ENERGY’ Thursday, 26th February Clarendon Fine Art Mayfair, UK.

“Join LA-based artist Paris Brosnan at the launch of his UK debut to experience his vibrant art, which ‘explores human connection, energy & the rhythm of shared experience.”

Paris has also shared insights into how his famous parents have shaped his life choices and told Sketch Yourself: “I’ve been surrounded by art my entire life. Whether it be watching my dad paint, painting with my brother [Dylan Thomas Brosnan], going to museums, or looking through art books; I’ve always been drawn to art in the way that you can be vulnerable with your emotions and communicate things that you can’t necessarily with words.”
