Philadelphia Eagles star Saquon Barkley engaged to Anna Congdon ahead of Super Bowl LIX appearance

He put a ring on it!

Philadephia Eagles star Saquon Barkley is engaged to Anna Congdon ahead of his team’s Super Bowl LIX appearance versus the Kansas City Chiefs, according to People.

“I can’t be the athlete I am and have the success I have so in my career without the help of her,” the NFL star told the outlet of his fiancée.

“She’s been super helpful and always has my back, not only in football but throughout life there’s a lot that goes on. But as we continue to grow and mature and go through life together, we continue getting closer and continue to get even better.”

Barkley, 27, who shares daughter Jada, 6, and son Saquon Jr., 2, with Congdon, said they “just sit back and laugh sometimes when [their kids are] over there playing and just smile and think about where everything started.”

The running back and Congdon, 26, met at Penn State and have been dating since 2017.

The couple welcomed their daughter in April 2018 and their son in September 2022.

The mom of two recently celebrated her beau’s NFC Championship win against the Washington Commanders by posting a family shot with the champ on Instagram.

“If I could wrap my arms around this memory, I would…” she captioned the post.

Barkley took to the comments section, writing, “Love you ❤️.”

Barkley and his teammates are set to take on the Chiefs in the Super Bowl in New Orleans on Feb. 9, which is also the athlete’s 28th birthday.

“The best birthday gift you can have is playing in the Super Bowl and the only thing better than that is winning the Super Bowl on your birthday,” he told People.

“So plans before or after … I really don’t have any idea or any game plan at all. I’m really just focusing on going out there and playing this game and trying to continue to play at a high level.”
