Pharrell Williams is sharing the secrets behind his youthful glow.

The “Happy” singer, 51, shared his two-part solution for ageless skin during an interview with People published on Saturday.

“Now, there is a routine, and you can find them online, but I think probably the most active portion of it all — no, it’s two. It’s exfoliating, but it’s also in here,” Williams told the outlet while pointing to his heart.

“It’s literally in here. That inner child, don’t ever silence it,” the Louis Vuitton creative director continued.

“Don’t ever [go], ‘Oh, I can’t do this anymore.’ No. That’s why you should absolutely do it right now. The people who want to put you in a box? They tried to do that to me, too, and here we are.”

Williams gave a similar answer when he spoke to Dazed in August 2017, revealing that his wrinkle-free complexion was due to exfoliation.

“I exfoliate like a madman. When you exfoliate and you drink a lot of water, that does good for you,” he said at the time. “To me, the key is just exfoliating, like a monster. There’s a lot of dead skin. All the time. Like a narcissistic madman.”

However, some — including R&B singer Frank Ocean — had trouble believing Williams was solely relying on an exfoliation technique.

In his 2019 GQ cover story, Ocean called out the music producer for not revealing more in-depth skincare advice.

“It’s been all these years, and Pharrell still hasn’t given us the keys yet. He just says ‘exfoliate,’ but it’s not just ‘exfoliate’: We need more keys,” he said.

The following year, Williams released the skincare line Humanrace, which he crafted with his longtime dermatologist, Elena Jones.

The line includes everything from the Humidifying Face Cream ($52) to the Lotus Enzyme Exfoliator ($46). The products feature ingredients such as hyaluronic acid and snow mushroom extract.

Williams was recently announced as a co-chair of the 2025 Met Gala, alongside Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. LeBron James will serve as honorary chair.

The theme for next year’s event will be “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” Vogue announced on Wednesday.
