- Weber tells PEOPLE that, while he currently remains single, he’s “enjoying the journey along the way”

Five years ago, Peter Weber stepped into the spotlight as The Bachelor after appearing on Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette.
Although he ended his season engaged to Hannah Ann Sluss, they split by the time the finale aired. Weber went on to date his Bachelor contestant Kelley Flanagan on and off until April 2023.
Today, Weber, 33, tells PEOPLE while discussing his participation in P&G’s Battle of the Paddles presented by Lowe’s that he’s “still looking for the one.”
“You can’t ever force it, but I have faith in due time that’ll work out,” he says. “I never lost faith, so I know it’ll happen soon and I’m just enjoying the journey along the way.”
The Traitors star remains open to dating someone with a reality TV background, though “that’s never been a requirement,” he says. “Really it’s just the person that I’m looking to truly connect with and bond with. I think there are pros for sure to each side for sure. There’s definitely a comfort and a familiarity with someone that’s kind of been through that, but also someone that has zero idea about it and is completely removed from it it’s also kind of refreshing.”
Weber says he wants a woman with “a kind heart, adventurous spirit” and “someone close to family.” “Just someone that I can truly just be myself with and fully let go and relax with and have that sense of peace with,” he continues.

Weber does have some plans for Valentine’s Day, though: attending a work training in Denver.
“I have my annual recurrent training for my airline for work, so I actually end up getting back late that night,” the pilot says, adding that when it comes to a Feb. 14 date night, “I have no plans as of right now.”
Prior Valentine’s Day, Weber will be celebrating the Super Bowl with P&G — the NFL”s official locker room products provider — and Lowe’s as he takes on NFL players in the 3rd annual Battle of the Paddles tennis table tournament in New Orleans.
“I have grown up a diehard NFL fan ever since I was 10 years old. I became a diehard Seattle Seahawks fan,” Weber says. “I actually started playing table tennis back in high school with my high school football team. I never thought I’d be playing with NFL stars one day, but it’s kind of a dream to come true. To be able to get an opportunity to come and play with guys I’ve watched for a while is super exciting.”
Weber wants to get matched up with Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons — in hopes of convincing the linebacker, 25, to make a move to the Seahawks.
“I’m going to do my damn best to try to recruit him,” the TV personality says. “If he truly wants the most insane environment in the NFL to rush the quarterback, nothing compares like the 12th man up at Lumen Field.”
Weber even has a Seattle Seahawks tattoo on his finger, but he says he’ll “play it cool” when he meets Parsons. “I’ll 100% be my true self and I’m a diehard 12, so I’ll try to do my best and sell it on him,” Weber says.
Anyone who watched Weber on The Traitors season 2 knows he has a competition streak. But when it comes to taking on the NFL players during Battle of the Paddles, “I’m not going to trash talk too much here because I’m sure these guys are very, very good,” he says. “They’re professional athletes for a reason! But I am damn competitive and everyone will see that. I’ll 100% give it my all. So we’ll see what happens.”
