Pete Davidson’s girlfriend Elsie Hewitt enjoyed a lavish baby shower ahead of the couple welcoming their “little bunny.”
The Industry actress, 29, shared a special look at her baby shower via Instagram on Saturday, November 29. Her friends and family went all out to celebrate Hewitt with dozens of gifts and some amazing menu options — including gourmet bagels and lox with tomatoes, plus a three-tiered cake with ornate gold and white frosting.
Hewitt even got to test out her loved ones for potential babysitting duty during a shower game, as they competed to see who could properly put a diaper on a teddy bear the fastest.
“Sweetest special-est day filled with love and cake and diapers and fwends and hugs and bagels and gifts for my lil bunny on the way,” Hewitt wrote alongside a carousel photos via Instagram.
Hewitt had another major milestone on Friday, November 29, when she revealed her baby bump for the first time via TikTok. Before showing off her bump, she told followers that they might be “surprised” by its small size at 37 weeks.
“It’s crunch time, we’re getting close,” she said, before speaking directly to her bump: “Where are you?”
The British model explained: “The baby is small. But I do kinda want to ask though, am I OK?”
One follower pointed out that the relatively small size of her bump was probably “because of [her] height.”
“I think if pregnant women are tall then their bumps are smaller,” the viewer wrote. “I remember seeing this interview where Natalie Postman, who’s short, was complaining about how far along she looked in her pregnancy when she was only a few months lol.”
Hewitt chimed in, “Oooo good point i’m 5’11 😲”
Another viewer added, “Your bump doesn’t look small at all! Looks perfectly normal.”
Us Weekly reported that Hewitt and Davidson were dating in March after they were spotted on a few romantic outings. They made their red carpet debut at the Blossom Ball in New York City in May.
The couple announced they were expecting their first baby together two months later. They shared a video where Davidson held Hewitt’s hand as they gazed at a sonogram video during a prenatal appointment.
“Welp now everyone knows we had sex,” Hewitt captioned the baby announcement video.
Unfortunately, Hewitt hasn’t had the easiest pregnancy. She got very candid with her TikTok followers earlier this month by admitting she has been “in pain since the very beginning and it’s just getting worse and worse.”
“Tm in absolute agony pretty much 24/7. This morning, it’s really bad,” she said in the November 14 clip.
Hewitt suggested that her longterm struggle with endometriosis — which is a reproductive condition where tissue grows outside of the uterus — could be “heavily linked” to Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, which she is currently experiencing. (According to the Mayo Clinic, Ehlers-Danlos is “a group of inherited disorders that affect your connective tissues — primarily your skin, joints and blood vessel walls.”)
“At this point, if you can think of something that there is to do about the pain, I have tried it,” she explained. “I have tried everything, and it’s only getting worse and I cannot walk.”
Hewitt added, “I am just straight-up suffering and in so much pain every single day. I actually really don’t know how it could get worse than this.”
On a more positive front, Us learned in October that the former Saturday Night Live cast member and Hewitt are “so excited for this next chapter” as parents.
“They’ve been living together and getting everything ready for the baby, and it’s brought them so much closer,” an insider told Us.
The source confirmed that Davidson and Hewitt were already in “full prep mode,” including “setting up the nursery, taking classes together and doing all the little things to get ready.”
