Comedian Luenell apologized to Pete Davidson for getting handsy with him during a recent interview.

“I admit I was tickling Pete’s leg during a segment of ‘Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney’; however, I did not mean to make Pete uncomfortable,” Luenell, 66, told People Friday.

“I sincerely apologize. It was all done in jest.”

She “hope[s]” the fellow comedian will “forgive” her as she added, “I’m still willing to go out on a date with him if he so chooses. And I promise I won’t touch him again unless he wants me to!”

Luenell’s rep went on to echo that her client was “just being playful” and “by no means” intended to make Davidson, 31, “uncomfortable.”

On this week’s episode of comedian John Mulaney’s new celebrity sit-down talk show, Luenell ran her hand up Davidson’s leg during a blindfolded segment that took place shortly after she grilled him about Kim Kardashian and other ex-girlfriends.

“Pete was fine answering any questions. There was no issue with Kim, and he loves Mulaney. Everyone on the show was having a great time with him until this happened,” a source told People about the touching.

The source claimed “the whole set felt uncomfortable” and called the incident “really inappropriate,” noting that “Pete played along in the moment because he didn’t want to derail the live show.”

According to the source, viewers “noticed it right away.”

The source argued, “People believe they can treat Pete differently and view him as fair game for these ‘jokes’ because of their perception of him, but it was just wrong and shows an unfortunate double standard.”

Davidson, however, did seemingly squirm at the mention of Kardashian, whom he dated from October 2021 to August 2022.

“To me, you’re just an average guy,” Luenell said to the “Saturday Night Live” alum during the aforementioned segment. “I want to know the mystique. Now, you’ve had Kim K …”

Davidson immediately let out an “oh, God” and put his hand over his face.

But Luenell continued, “[And] several other people! You’ve got this little supermodel [Elsie Hewett] right now. What I think — for the research and for women across America — I think that you should take me out.”

Davidson and Kardashian — who met when the reality star, 44, hosted an episode of “SNL” — reconnected last month at the late-night sketch comedy show’s 50th anniversary special.

“He has nothing but love and respect for Kim,” an insider told Page Six at the time. “They are on good terms. He hopes everyone can move on.”
