Pete Davidson is baring it all!
During the SNL50: The Anniversary Special on Feb. 16, the comedian, 31, reprised his iconic character, Chad, alongside original SNL cast member, Laraine Newman, for a digital sketch.
While walking through the halls of Studio 8H, Newman came across Chad, who was working as a crew member on Saturday Night Live. As she and Chad strolled through the sound stage, she gazed at a photo of herself and the original cast hanging on the wall.
âGod, Iâm so young. Do you know what I had back in 1975?â she asked to which Chad replied, âBig ass bush?â
âNo Chad. I had ambition. We all did, but God, we were terrified. I think thatâs why we clung to each other like we did,â she continued, Chad began to walk away from the conversation but snapped back as soon as Newman added, âWhich of course, created its own problems with all the partying and the sex.â
When she admitted, âI would have been all over you back then,â Chad immediately took off all his clothes in one swoop motion, revealing Davidsonâs chest full of tattoos.
âBut Iâm not like that anymore,â Newman said before Chad shrugged, âOkay.â
Since 2020, Davidson has been through a long process of removing all of his tattoos.
In late January, a source told PEOPLE that the Dog Man actor has spent $200,000 in an effort to remove all of his body art.
âHe just woke up one day and wanted them gone, and itâs been a years-long process,â the insider said while a second source added that the removal marked a fresh start for Davidson, who âhas been sober since September, and gained twenty pounds.â
âThings are going really well for him,â the source explained. âThings are heading in the right direction, and heâs receiving excellent reviews for the movie [Dog Man].'â
During a Jan. 31 appearance on Today, Davidson got candid about just how painful the tattoo removal process has been.
âItâs pretty terrible, so if anybody out there is watching and thinking about getting a tattoo, make sure you really want to get it,â he told hosts Savannah Guthrie and Craig Melvin while pulling up his sleeve to show the faded tattoos on his forearm. âItâs pretty gone.â
