Bronson Pinchot is giving fans an update on his fitness journey â and showing off his muscular physique.
On Friday, Nov. 8, the Perfect Strangers alum, 65, shared a post on Instagram showing how he and his âworkout buddy,â fellow actor Wolf Taitano, work together in the gym â and joked that the pair took photos of each other flexing their muscles âcuz the light was too good not to.â
âWhen one of us is right at the limit of our stamina the other one speaks in a ridiculous voice designed to make the other guy lose it,â Pinchot wrote in the caption, before delving into some of the more mentally difficult parts of undergoing an extreme fitness journey.
âAs kids he was skinny and I was fat. We both find it takes mental effort not to continue to see ourselves that way,â the actor continued.
Pinchot also joked that despite their age difference â âI was on my third TV series at the time he was bornâ â he and Taitano have a great working relationship.
âBiologically I could be his grandpa though I have to be reminded â constantly â that Iâm not eleven. We both had abusive fathers. He is a devoted dad to an incandescent little fellow named Ragnar,â he wrote, before quipping about his tan. âI think Ima start using the tanning bed because when Iâm next to Wolf I look like a Kleenex.â
Pinchot first revealed that he was working with a trainer and trying to gain weight and put on muscle in 2022, telling Page Six earlier this year that the catalyst for his fitness journey was when his 94-year-old mother fell and he wasnât able to help her back up.
âShe still had all her marbles and then some,â he told the outlet in June 2024. âBut she was upstairs on the floor and I couldnât get her up and she didnât have any core strength to help me. I had to call the paramedics, which was bad.â
The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina actor also told the outlet that he didnât want to be in that same position in the future. On top of that, he said he had lost 60 pounds after he saw himself in Battle of the Network Stars, and decided to put it back on âwith interest.â

In March, he detailed what some of his workout entails, and showed off his progress after seven months of weight training, three to four times per week.
âCareful protein intake, calorie mindfulness & tens of thousands of steps laterâŠ.I am kind of chuffed to say my waist is actually smaller than the smallest it ever was when I played Balki on Perfect Strangers,â Pinchot wrote. âBUT my back will not be squeezing into those lil bitty vests ever again.â
Pinchot starred alongside Mark Linn-Baker on the ABC sitcom for eight seasons from 1986 to 1993. He played Balki Bartokomous, an immigrant from the fictional island of Mypos whose distant cousin, the more uptight Larry Appleton (Linn-Baker), reluctantly let him move into his Chicago apartment.
