Golden Mahomes is going to the 2025 Super Bowl.
Patrick Mahomes confirmed his and wife Brittany Mahomesâ 3-week-old daughter will attend the big game in New Orleans on Feb. 9.
âSheâs been amazing, sheâs been sleeping well. Momâs been extremely happy, and Iâm excited for her to be able to come,â he told the media Tuesday. âI think itâll be her first football game at the Super Bowl, and I hope that we get her a win.â
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, 29, said the birth of his daughter has been extra âmotivatingâ ahead of his matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.
âI mean, just because I want them to have the same experiences that the other two have,â he said of his older children: daughter Sterling Skye, 3, and son Patrick âBronze,â 2.
The Mahomeses welcomed their third child on Jan. 12 during the Chiefsâ playoff bye week.
The couple announced the news on Instagram alongside a sweet black-and-white snap of them holding hands near the newbornâs feet.
âGolden Raye Mahomes 1/12/25 đâš,â Brittany, also 29, captioned the post.
While their eldest daughter wanted to name her new sister Elsa, they ultimately vetoed her suggestion and continued their metal moniker trend.
Patrick and Brittanyâs dogs, notably, are named Steel and Silver.
However, Brittany told Today.com they had a hard time choosing her middle name, Raye.
âWe went back and forth for a while,â she explained. âBut the one we settled on, we really, really love.â
The former soccer player shockingly attended her husbandâs playoff game just six days after giving birth; however, she left their little one at home.
Brittany has shared a few glimpses of Golden online â including her girly nursery â but has yet to share photos of the newbornâs face.
The couple, who wed in March 2022, announced in July 2024 that they were expanding their brood.
While Patrick previously hinted they were âdoneâ after three kids, he recently admitted that baby No. 4 is âmaybeâ an option.
âMy goal was always three. So weâve had three,â he told reporters, noting that he might change his mind âdown the line.â
âWeâll stick there for a while and see if we need to come back and get another one later on.â
