Patrick and Brittany Mahomes welcome third baby ahead of NFL playoffs

Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany Mahomes, gave birth to the couple’s third child, a second baby girl named Golden Raye, on Sunday.

Brittany announced the news on Instagram Monday with a sweet black-and-white snap of the couple holding hands near the newborn’s feet.

“Golden Raye Mahomes 1/12/25🎀✨,” she captioned the upload.

Patrick revealed last week that his wife would be induced during the Kansas City Chiefs’ bye week ahead of the playoffs.

The little one will seemingly complete the 29-year-old quarterback’s family, as he previously said he is “done” having kids.

“I always wanted to have kids young,” he added during a July 2024 press conference. “We still go out and enjoy our life.”

Patrick’s comments came on the heels of Brittany, also 29, debuting her baby bump and ultrasound snaps via Instagram.

In back-to-back uploads, she wrote, “Round three here we come. Family of 5 coming soon blessings on blessings🙏🏻🤍.”

Brittany and Patrick’s eldest two children — daughter Sterling, 3, and son Bronze, 2 — were featured in the pregnancy announcement.

Later that same month, the little ones found out that they had a younger sister on the way by playing a lifesize game of tic-tac-toe.

“Another baby girl,” Brittany gushed via Instagram after the sex reveal party.

Fans speculated in the comments section that the couple would continue their metal moniker trend by naming baby No. 3 Goldie.

Patrick and Brittany’s dogs, notably, are named Steel and Silver.

The NFL star began dating his partner in high school, continuing their romance while attending Texas Tech University and the University of Texas, respectively.

Patrick got down on one knee in September 2020 during a Super Bowl ring ceremony at the Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Miss.

After welcoming Sterling in February 2021, the duo got married in Hawaii the following year.

Bronze was born in November 2022.
