Paris Hilton has opened up about the firm measures she has taken at her $63 million LA mansion to ensure her children are kept safe. During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the mother-of-two shared that she doesnât want her kids to feel as though they have to sneak out of the house as she did as a teenager.
âI think about that a lot. Itâs the one thing Iâm anxious about. I just want my kids to feel so much love and have this really fun house so that they wonât want to sneak out,â she said. âWe can have movie nights here in the screening room and they can go on the water slide and on the pink tennis court.â
However, it appears her children would struggle to make it past the gates, thanks to the stringent security measures Paris has put in place in order to maintain their safety. âThe security system is insane here. Itâs like Fort Knox. Itâs not possible to sneak out,â she added.
Paris tied the knot with her husband, Carter Reum, in 2021, and the couple welcomed their son, Phoenix Barron, via surrogate in January 2023, and their daughter, London Marilyn, via surrogate in November 2023.Â
Following the destruction of her Malibu mansion during the LA wildfires in January last year, the 44-year-old acquired a  12-bedroom, 20-bath estate in Beverly Park for a staggering $63 million. The sprawling 30,500 square-foot home is set on 6.2 acres in the exclusive gated community in Los Angeles.
Parisâs new property once belonged to Mark Wahlberg, but he sold the estate for $55 million in February 2023 after relocating to Nevada.
Mark collaborated with architect Richard Landry on the chĂąteau-style estate, complete with a two-storey entry hall, twin staircases, formal living and dining rooms, and a double-height wood-panelled library with a fireplace and chandelier. The primary suite includes a private balcony, dual bathrooms, and two dressing rooms, while additional amenities span a home theatre, professional gym, and a wine-and-cigar cellar.
The grounds feature a sports court, a resort-style pool complete with waterslides, a skate park, and a five-hole golf course with a driving range, along with a separate guest house.
Paris spoke to us about her marriage and family life ahead of the premiere of Infinite Icon: A Visual Memoir. âI really believe that timing is everything and he was the first person that I trusted: I let down the walls that I had around my heart for so long to let him in and now I finally feel safe,â she told HELLO! âHe lifts me up, and supports me in ways that no man ever has â and he doesnât try to change me.â
âAfter becoming a mom, everything changed,â she added. âTime is the most precious thing in the world, and I will say no to so many things because I will always put my children first.â
