Pamela Anderson shared the most heartfelt birthday shout-out to her youngest son, Dylan Lee.
“Happy Birthday Dylan. My dear angel. My sweet boy,” the Last Showgirl actress, 58, captioned a throwback baby photo of Dylan, 28, via her Instagram Stories on Monday, December 29. “You are such a gentle and wise force in the world, an artist with a good business sense and self control like no other.”
“A true gentleman. You have had such an incredible year ❤️,” the caption continued. “I’m so proud of you. Have a beautiful day surrounded by nature and love… All my heart, Mom.”
Anderson has always been open about how much motherhood has positively impacted her life and career. (She shares Dylan and older son Brandon, 29, with ex-husband Tommy Lee. The pair were married from 1995 to 1998.)
“A Mother’s Love is Unwavering…I have always known that the most important job in the world is being a parent,” Anderson wrote via Instagram in February 2023 in another touching caption. “Being a mom reminds me of who I am, an ever-evolving woman. Every day is a new opportunity to learn and grow alongside each other, not in the way of each other. My boys surprise me every day, and the wonderful challenges of motherhood have all been so deeply rewarding.”
She concluded the post by explaining she dedicated her 2023 memoir, Love, Pamela, to her kids. In the book, Anderson credited Brandon and Dylan for helping her get through difficult times in her marriages and personal life. (Anderson has been married and divorced five times to four different men.)
“Brandon and Dylan are true miracles, considering their gene pool,” the Baywatch alum wrote. “They have been through so much, yet they are not full of holes.”
“They saved me,” Anderson added. “I don’t want to put that on my kids but having children changed everything. I’ve loved every moment.”
Anderson also praised her children for their passion for the arts and zest for life.
“Brandon is really creative and is this fiery kind of kid,” she reflected. “Dylan is more introspective and more Zen. It’s a good team.”
Anderson’s sons have joined her for numerous red carpet outings through the years, including the New York City premiere of The Naked Gun on July 28. The trio posed for photos along with Anderson’s costar Liam Neeson and his two sons, Micheál and Daniel, whom he shares with late wife Natasha Richardson.
During the summer press tour for the film, Anderson and Neeson, 73, sparked romance rumors with their flirty behavior, with Us Weekly confirming in late July that the pair were dating. A source also told Us Anderson’s kids offered their stamp of approval on their relationship and “think Liam is great and have gotten to know him better in the last few months.”
Months later, Anderson broke her silence on their relationship and confirmed things had fizzled out with Neeson.
“If you must know, Liam and I were romantically involved for a short while but only after we finished filming,” she told People earlier this month, adding that they spent an “intimate week” at Neeson’s upstate New York home. “I had my own room. Our assistants both came; even family stopped by.”
Anderson said she and Neeson “went our separate ways to work on other films.” They last saw each other in August when he came to see her perform in Tennessee Williams’ Camino Real at the Williamstown Theater Festival in Williamstown, Massachusetts.
