Gone but not forgotten.
Ozzy Osbourneâs loved ones were brought to tears as Post Malone, Slash and more artists gathered together on the Grammys 2026 stage Sunday night to pay tribute to the late Prince of Darkness.
Malone, who duetted with Ozzy on his 2019 hit âTake What You Want,â led a raucous rendition of the Black Sabbath hit âWar Pigsâ on vocals.
Slash paid tribute to the âCrazy Trainâ and âShot in the Darkâ hitmaker by jamming along on guitar as Guns Nâ Roses bassist Duff McKagan and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith joined in behind them.
As photos from Ozzyâs life were cast across the screen in the background, the camera panned to the late rockerâs family, including his widow, Sharon Osbourne, and their kids Jack, Kelly and Aimee.
Yungblud, who won this yearâs Grammy for best rock performance for his live cover of Ozzyâs âChanges,â also remembered the late heavy metal pioneer during his acceptance speech earlier in the day.
âTo grow up loving an idol who helps you figure out your identity not only as a musician but also as a man is something that Iâm truly grateful for,â Yungblud, 28, began.
âFor then to get to know them and form a relationship with them and honor them at their final show and then receive this, the cost of it is something I and all of us are finding so strange to comprehend,â he added. âWe fâking love you, Ozzy.â
The âZombieâ singer went on to thank Ozzyâs family for the opportunity.
âThe last time I saw Ozzy Osbourne, you asked if thereâs anything you could do for me,â Yungblud, who was joined on the stage by Sharon, continued.
âI answered the music was enough and I can safely say on behalf of all of us that still stands now and will forever,â he said. âYouâll be with me every time Iâm nervous and onstage at every show.â
Yungblud finished his speech by saying, âGod bless rock music and god bless fâking Ozzy Osbourne.â
Ozzyâs family announced his tragic passing on July 22, 2025. He was 76.
His cause of death was later determined to be from cardiac arrest, acute myocardial infarction, coronary artery disease and Parkinsonâs disease.
âIt is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning,â the âDreamerâ singerâs loved ones said in a statement to The Post at the time.
âHe was his family and surrounded by love,â they added. âWe ask everyone to respect our familyâs privacy at this time. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis.â
The former Black Sabbath frontman was laid to rest in his hometown of Birmingham, England, on July 31.
Tens of thousands of fans visited the Black Sabbath bridge and bench on Broad Street to leave tributes, flowers and letters for the late heavy metal pioneer.
Two weeks before his death, Ozzy performed one final show with Black Sabbath during the bandâs âBack to the Beginningâ farewell concert in Birmingham.
âYou know, itâs just such a beautiful thing that his peers are showing their love and respect for his work tonight, and itâs going to be an emotional experience for us,â Kelly said on the Grammys 2026 red carpet before the ceremony, per People.
âMy father was one of the greatest men to ever live [on] the planet,â she added. âAnd to show I donât have enough gratitude to the Grammys for what theyâre doing tonight. You know, itâs a really beautiful thing.â
