Victoria Justice wants nothing but a victorious life for Ariana Grande.
After the success of Ariana’s performance in Wicked—which earned her a Best Supporting actress nomination at the 2025 Oscars on March 2—the Victorious alum has been filled with celebration.
“I’m so happy for her, she absolutely crushed it,” Victoria told E! News at the Elton John AIDS Foundation’s 33rd Annual Academy Awards Viewing Party of Ariana and costar Cynthia Erivo’s Oscars performance. “Both of them did. ICYMI, Ariana and Cynthia channeled their characters Glinda and Elphaba and kicked off the Oscars, hosted by Conan O’Brien, by singing a few songs honoring the land of Oz, including “Defying Gravity,” that left the star-studded audience on their feet.
While Wicked, which was nominated for 10 awards took home two Academy Awards for Best Costume Design and for Production Design, Victoria is still celebrating her former costar’s spellbinding season. In fact, no matter how busy they are, the Victorious cast still finds a way to keep in touch.
