Oscars 2025: Shannen Doherty’s Rep Calls Out In Memoriam Snub

Shannen Doherty‘s loved ones want to see her legacy live on.

After she was left out of the 2025 Oscars’ In Memoriam, which celebrates members of the film industry who have passed away over the last year, a former rep for the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum—who died in July at age 59—spoke out on her exclusion from the segment. 

In fact, Shannen’s longtime rep told TMZ Mar. 3 that it was really disappointing to not see her honored at the ceremony, which was hosted by Conan O’Brien.

And members of Shannen’s inner circle weren’t the only people upset that she didn’t feature in the award show’s In Memoriam, which this year honored Hollywood legends including Gene Hackman, David Lynch, Jeff Baena, Maggie Smith, Bob Newhart and Donald Sutherland.

Fans of the actress—who passed away after battling stage 4 breast cancer—also expressed their frustration at her decades-long entertainment career not being highlighted during the March 2 show. After all, in addition to starring on TV shows like Beverly Hills, 90210 and Charmed, Shannen appeared in iconic movies such as Heathers and Mallrats.
