Oprah Wore Hollywood’s ‘It Color’ in Such a Sleek Way — Recreate Her Look from $22

Welcome to The Blueprint, where we break down the celebrity looks we want to wear right now and build them back up, piece by piece.

If there’s one thing celebrities have been sipping on as much as they’ve been wearing this winter, it’s espresso. In fact, Oprah Winfrey just wore the trendy hue in a cool way that I’ll be adding to my closet stat.

In an Instagram post promoting a recent podcast episode with Eckhart Tolle, the media mogul wore a pair of espresso leather pants — an elegant swap for jeans. She styled the look with a striped brown-and-white blouse and stylish booties in, you guessed it, espresso.

Oprah isn’t the only star to wear espresso — Martha Stewart, Sofia Vergara, and Reese Witherspoon have all tapped the trend lately. The warm hue is a fun swap for timeless black, as the earthy tone is easy to mix and match with other items in your closet. Espresso is also a smart way to winterize stripes, which tend to be a summer staple.

If you already have a pair of black leather pants or booties, consider adding these brown pairs to your seasonal closet to switch things up. Shop leather pants, booties, and striped shirts in Hollywood’s winter “it” color from just $22 below.

Viligo Faux Leather Pants

For those looking for a comfy, no-brainer way to look elegant, try these faux leather pants that remind me of the ones Oprah wore on Instagram. They have a wide-leg design that’s popular among celebs like Heidi Klum and Anne Hathaway. The faux leather exterior is sleek and practical for this time of year, while the inside has a thin fleece lining to keep you warm. Over 50 Amazon shoppers have added them to their closets in the past month, and they cost just $44.

Who says you can’t wear stripes during winter? I’m going to give Oprah’s look a try with this similar striped shirt that’s on sale for just $22 at Amazon thanks to a coupon. The long sleeve design protects you from the elements, plus you can layer this blouse under a sweater or sweater vest to make it more winter-friendly. I would wear this in brown for obvious reasons, but if you want to try other hues, the top also comes in black, blue, and 13 other colors. The chest pocket is such a cute bonus.

Cushionaire Barbi Kitten Heel Bootie

Raise your hand if you’d so much rather wear a pair of booties than heels. These pointed-toe shoes are basically kitten heels and booties all in one thanks to their short, thin heel and pointed toe box. The durable sole has traction to help stabilize your feet against the elements. One five-star reviewer even called them “extremely comfortable.”

I think it’s about time I add more espresso to my closet, which is currently filled with black. If you want to do so as well, keep scrolling for more espresso leather pants, striped shirts, and booties inspired by Oprah Winfrey’s latest look.
