Oprah Winfrey turned heads as she stepped out in New York ahead of her appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
The media mogul, 72, looked effortlessly stylish in a fitted denim co-ord that perfectly showcased her figure, proving once again that her fashion credentials are as strong as ever.
Arriving in the city, Oprah was seen greeting fans with a warm wave, her signature smile firmly in place as she made her way through the streets. She paired a structured denim jacket, complete with gold hardware detailing, with matching high-waisted jeans that flared subtly at the hem, creating a flattering, elongated silhouette.
Adding a touch of glamour to the laid-back look, Oprah accessorised with oversized black sunglasses, statement gold earrings and a Chloe Paddington leather handbag, while pointed heels elevated the ensemble.
Her glossy, softly styled hair framed her face beautifully, and her radiant complexion only added to the polished yet relaxed feel of the outfit.
The star proudly revealed that she has reached a fitness goal in a video she shared on social media last month.
Oprah documented her fitness evolution in the before-and-after clip, which showed that in 2024, she could barely hold a plank for 10 seconds.
Fast forward to now, and the billionaire can not only hold a plank position for more than a minute, but she can do it while lifting weights, too.
âAs we age â and you want to age well â one of the things Iâve learned is that flexibility and strength is the most important, particularly for women and our bones,â she said in a video of herself in the gym that she shared on Instagram. âAnd so I started strength training.â
In the clip, Oprah included a throwback to her first plank attempt on August 10, 2024, which showed her struggling to hold the position before dropping to the ground at the 10-second mark.
The video then shows Oprah declaring that she âcan go 20 more secondsâ after hitting her original 10-second target, before it cuts to her planking while lifting weights. âThat was the goal,â she said while shaking her fist at the camera in victory.
âPlanks are the most challenging exercise for me. My first one in 2024 lasted 10 seconds. Now I can do them for over a minute, with weights, and whatever creativity Trainer Peter throws my way,â she wrote in the caption of the video.
Oprah turned to a GLP-1 medication in 2023 after revealing she was always âlosing the weight [and] gaining it back.â
âThe fact that thereâs a medically approved prescription for managing weight and staying healthier, in my lifetime, feels like relief, like redemption, like a gift, and not something to hide behind and once again be ridiculed for,â she previously told People.
âI now use it as I feel I need it, as a tool to manage not yo-yoing,â she added. âIâm absolutely done with the shaming from other people and particularly myself.â
