Fresh from her success at the 2026 Winter Olympics, Eileen Gu turned her hand to her âother jobâ and made a stylish appearance during Milan Fashion Week.
The 22-year-old freestyle skier attended her first Prada show on Thursday, and she certainly looked like she belonged in the front row.
Eileen looked stunning in an all-Prada ensemble, consisting of a dark gray knee-length dress worn under a double-breasted, structured jacket, pale gray knee-high socks, and burgundy pointed-toe heels.
Speaking to WWD after the show, Eileen said her designer outfit made her âfeel really fierce and powerful.â
Discussing the show, she said: âIt was so much fun. I think the layout was so cool, having the models walk and then changing the outfits so you could really see the layering going on. Very fun, very creative.â
Eileen is no stranger to the fashion world, and alongside being an Olympic gold and silver medallist, making her the most decorated female freestyle skier in Olympic history, and a student at Stanford University, she is also signed to IMG Models and has featured in campaigns for Fendi, Gucci, Tiffany & Co., and Louis Vuitton.
âFashion, sport, and education are my three worlds, and I love all of them equally,â she added to WWD. âThey really balance me out, and each of them brings out a different side of me.â
Eileen is staying in Milan for fashion week and was also spotted at the Brunello Cucinelli show on Wednesday, again looking immaculate in an ivory, floor-length, backless silk dress and a cropped leather jacket.
Eileen is looking forward to exploring more opportunities outside of her sport following her success at the Milan-Cortina Games, where she won a gold medal in the half-pipe and a silver medal in both slopestyle and Big Air.
âItâs Fashion Week in Milan,â she said, via AFP. âI have the other job, the other fashion thing.
âIâm really excited to just explore some other avenues, be creative, and explore my femininity through fashion, which is something Iâve always loved, and to kind of put that in juxtaposition with skiing and with sports.â
She added: âAnd I think they co-exist so beautifully, and so IÂ hope to represent that next week in Milan.â
Despite the success of the Games and her guest of honor status at MFW, Eileen has been dealing with a personal loss behind the scenes.
She revealed, following her gold medal win on the last day of the Olympics, that her grandmother, Guozhen Feng, had passed away.
Tearfully speaking to reporters about her grandmother shortly after her big win, Eileen said: âThis woman commanded life, and she grabbed it by the reins, and she made it into what she wanted it to be.
âShe inspired me so much,â she went on, revealing: âThe last time I saw her before I came to the Olympics, she was very sick, so I knew that this was a possibility.
âI didnât probably say that I was going to win, but I did promise her that I was going to be brave. Sheâs been brave,â she added.
