Nina Dobrev and Shaun White are stepping out in style with a chic, all-black date night look.
On Thursday, Oct. 10, the couple make an appearance at the opening night of the Broadway revival of Our Town at The Barrymore Theatre in New York City. Hitting the red carpet, the pair posed together for photos in color coordinated, all-black ensembles.
Dobrev, 35, wore a stylish short black dress that featured long sleeves and massive ruffles on the dress’ shoulders. Pairing the look with sheer black tights, a simple silver necklace, dangling earrings and pointed high heels, the Vampire Diaries alum kept her makeup look simple and wore her hair in an updo.
White, 38, opted for a black suit with a matching black button-down underneath. The pro snowboarder kept his look simple, leaving the top button of his shirt open and completing the ensemble with shiny black leather dress shoes.
The couple — who first revealed that they were in a relationship in April 2020 — are no stranger to color-coordinating their outfits for their red carpet date nights.
Back in 2022, when the pair made their red carpet debut as a couple at the premiere of Top Gun: Maverick in London, they both sported matching white ensembles. Dobrev wore a floor-length silk ivory gown paired with a sleek bun and a classic red lip and oversize silver hoop earrings, while White wore an ivory blazer paired with black pants and a black bow tie.
Just this summer, the couple also wore coordinating outfits from Ralph Lauren as they traveled to Paris for the 2024 Olympics to support Team USA. Dobrev rocked a black-and-red leather jacket with the team’s logos emblazoned across the arms, as well as a white shirt, white jeans and matching white sunglasses. White, meanwhile wore an all-white outfit with a white Team USA jacket featuring the same logos.

The couple first met in late 2012 when they briefly crossed paths at an awards show and reconnected in 2019. Dobrev and White became Instagram official in April 2020, when the actress shared a hilarious video that showed her attempting to wash her groceries amid the COVID pandemic — with White’s tattoo and freckled arms noticeable in the video.
Since then, the pair have been candid about their relationship on social media, as well as in interviews. Just last month, Dobrev celebrated her boyfriend’s 38th birthday with a heartfelt Instagram post, writing that “it’s so hard to go through years of photos and narrow down the ones to post for your birthday.”
“There are too many photos, too many adventures, too much laughter, too many cute moments, too many trips, too many inside jokes, too many memories and of course way too many photos that are too inappropriate to post,” she continued in the Sept. 3 post.
Dobrev concluded her post: “I love [you] too much birthday boy 🤍.”

Leading up to the 2022 Beijing Olympics several years ago, White opened up to PEOPLE about the support Dobrev has shown him throughout their “beautiful relationship.”
“Nina’s incredible,” he told PEOPLE at the time. “What an influence on my life. Not only does she run her own show, her own world, companies she’s involved in, things she’s producing, all this stuff going on. She holds me to this same high standard which is so wonderful to have in a partner.”
