Nina Dobrev and Ashley Park had a blast during their recent girls trip to Mexico.
Ashley shared a hilarious video online in which the two donned tiny bikinis at the beach.
An optical illusion
In the clip, viewers firstly saw Ashley laying on the sand in a green bikini with a checkered headband and black sunglasses, as she elegantly stretched her legs up vertically, and brought them over her shoulders.
While some perhaps thought she may have an unknown knack for flexibility, Ashley revealed that not everything is what it seems.
The video turned out to be an illusionary trick, and the long legs hanging over her were actually Nina’s, who eventually popped her body up and showed that it was her all along.
Nina excitedly held up two cocktails as she showcased the simple trick behind the supposed magic. Ashley jokingly captioned the video: “Only margs were harmed in the making of this…”
Their fans react
Fans loved their playful sides and flocked to the comments. One person wrote “This is our Olympics. Gold medals for acrobatics and choice of cocktail!”
A second fan added: “I love it now you can join my Online Contortion classes. I see you are totally ready. Come join the Circus with us. Big hugs.”
Another commenter continued: “Why am I not surprised that these two individuals [are] friends and having the silliest fun with each other? They just give me the same vibe. I love it!”
Girls trip
The duo not only had fun together but with their group of friends who joined them including Selena Gomez.
Ashley also posted another wholesome video featuring all the fun adventures the group had including a yacht ride, painting by the beach, swimming, sunbathing, whale watching and horseback riding.
The Emily in Paris actress captioned the sweet video: “Quite literally the fastest a girls trip has made it out of the group chat…Heart full.” Ashley’s co-star Lily Collins couldn’t make the vacation but she commented: “Love you all.”
Nina also shared a touching carousel of the trip which featured a heartwarming poem about friendship that read in part: “I fall in love with how my best friends show up for me…I fall in love with how we hype each other up like we are headline news…”
It continued: “I fall in love with my best friends because they are evidence that love does not have to be romantic to be life changing, because when everything else changes, they are the ones still sitting at my table.”
