Nicole Kidman is planning an exciting new year following her divorce from Keith Urban.
âShe is refreshed and optimistic about the new year,â a source told People of the Oscar winner in comments published Monday.
The source also said the âBig Little Liesâ star is âlooking ahead to a busy and exciting year professionally too, with several projects coming up.â
Of the former couplesâ daughters  Sunday, 17, and Faith, 15, the insider added, âNicole spends a lot of time with her girls. She loves family time.â
âTheyâre all settling back in to their routineâ the insider divulged. âThings have been calm.â
A rep for Kidman did not immediately return Page Sixâs request for comment.
Kidmanâs âPractical Magicâ sequel is expected to drop in September, and sheâll appear in the third season âLionessâ alongside Zoe Saldaña this year, as well as âMargoâs Got Money Troublesâ with Elle Fanning and âScarpettaâ with Jamie Lee Curtis.
The prolific actress also has a third season of her hit HBO Max series âBig Little Liesâ on the horizon.
Kidman and Urban, both 58, were married for nearly two decades before their stunning split over the summer.
âSometimes relationships just run their course,â a source told us at the time. The actress allegedly âdid not want the separation and was trying to save thingsâ prior to their separation.
They finalized their divorce earlier this month, with both parties waiving spousal and child support in the matter, and the country star earning âevery other weekendâ with their daughters.
Kidman and Urban had been living apart since the start of the summer 2025. Subsequent speculation that Urban was involved with guitarist Maggie Baugh were shut down by a friend in October.
Earlier this week, a report claimed the country star had moved in with a new love interest. âI hear he [Urban] has someone, which is why the girls are publicly supporting Mom,â the source alleged.
âPeople think they are even living together,â the source claimed. âLook, teen girls love their dads, so thereâs a reason theyâre making it three against one.â
The outlet also reported that Urban was working on a breakup album in Nashville that âmight be an uncomfortable retelling of the unravelling of their love storyâ â and that heâs âseriousâ with a new girlfriend, said to be up-and-coming country singer Karley Scott Collins, 26.
Collins herself reacted to dating rumors with a firm denial via social media on Sunday. The singer shared a screenshot of a headline reading, âKeith Urban moved in with Karley Scott Collins? Fresh speculation amid divorce.â
Atop the screenshot, she wrote, âYall, this is absolutely RIDICULOUS and untrue,â adding a laugh-crying emoji.
The âPerfect Coupleâ star, meanwhile, appears committed to looking ahead â she was seen posing arm in arm with her daughters while taking in New Yearâs Eve fireworks in a sweet social media post earlier this month.
âLooking forward into 2026,â she wrote atop the photo.
