Netflix viewers ‘up all night’ binge-watching The Lincoln Lawyer after long-awaited return

It’s safe to say that viewers are loving the new season, with many staying up all night to binge-watch all ten episodes. 

One person penned on X: “I didn’t sleep last night and I binge watched all ten episodes of #thelincolnlawyer s4,” while another added: “This show is gonna have me up all night!”

A third fan wrote: “Did I just binge-watch the whole season 4 of #TheLincolnLawyer? on a work-night? Yes,” while another added: “New season of The Lincoln Lawyer is out and my weekend plans are officially cancelled.”

Others praised the new episodes, with one person hailing the show as “excellent”. “#TheLincolnLawyer is so damned excellent it is simply breathtaking,” they penned, while another added: “I’m half way through the season and I adore this show.”

Based on the bestselling novel series by author Michael Connelly, season four is inspired by the sixth book in The Lincoln Lawyer series, The Law of Innocence.

In the new season, Mickey faces his toughest case yet as he and his team work tirelessly to prove his innocence in the murder of a former client, Sam Scales. 

The synopsis continues: “To clear his name, they must unravel Sam’s final scam, forcing them to go head-to-head with the DA’s office, the FBI, and ghosts from Mickey’s own past.”

Manuel Garcia-Rulfo returns as LA defense attorney Mickey Haller, alongside Becki Newton as Lorna, Jazz Raycole as Izzy and Angus Sampson as Cisco. 

Neve Campbell also reprises her role as Maggie McPherson, alongside Elliott Gould as David ‘Legal’ Siegel and Krista Warner as Hayley Haller. 

New cast members include Constance Zimmer (Entourage) as Dana Berg, Cobie Smulders (How I Met Your Mother) as Allison, Sasha Alexander (The Morning Show) as FBI Agent Dawn Ruth, Kyle Richards (Halloween) as Celeste Baker and Jason Butler Harner (Ozark) as Detective Drucker.
