NBC News correspondent Stephanie Gosk has filed for divorce from Jenna Wolfe.
Us Weekly can confirm that Gosk, 53, filed the documents on Wednesday, January 28. (TMZ was the first to report the news.)
Gosk and Wolfe, 51, have been separated since September 2021. The pair, who tied the knot in 2013, welcomed daughters Harper and Quinn in 2013 and 2015, respectively.
The former NBC anchor opened up about their split in 2023, sharing that the COVID-19 pandemic led to a fracture in her relationship with Gosk.
“COVID was really tough, because we both worked from home,” Wolfe told People at the time.
Wolfe was an anchor for Fox Sports at the time, while Gosk covered news for NBC. Both were filming live from their apartment in NYC.
“There’s a lot of beautiful ego that comes with one person being on television,” Wolfe joked. “But when there’s two people on television, plus both kids trying to do Zoom school in a Manhattan apartment, there’s just no space anywhere.”
“We decided after that, in order to preserve the relationship, it was better that Steph moved out,” Wolfe continued, explaining that she and Gosk are “still great friends, still loving parents” to their two kids.
Wolfe shared at the time that she tested positive for the breast cancer gene BRCA, leading her to undergo preventative surgeries. Wolfe explained that she “had a very honest conversation” with their kids about her health and separation with Gosk.
“If you don’t freak out about something, then kids won’t. And I think what I’ve learned through this process is how much they learn by absorbing your reaction, more than by you telling them how they should react,” she said.
While reflecting on coparenting with Gosk, Wolfe explained that it’s “working really well,” and claimed they are in contact daily. “We’re great friends and fantastic parents,” she added.
Wolfe noted that she and Gosk were hesitant about talking about their split publicly. “We were just waiting for the right time to tell people because often, this is looked at as a failure. Like, ‘Oh, your marriage failed.’ But I’m like, ‘Or, maybe we figured out a way to save the family unit,’” she said. “We still have each other and we always will.”
In 2025, Wolfe shared a sweet message celebrating Gosk’s birthday alongside photos of her through the years.
“Happy Birthday, @stephanie.gosk , the only person I know who’s still ‘figuring out Instagram,’” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “Thank you for the fearless strength you always show our girls… the endless adventures, the love, the patience, the discipline. Thank you for teaching them to be brave when they’re scared, to be confident when they’re unsure, and to be silly and have fun all the while. Thank you for teaching them fractions and politics and the branches of government.”
She concluded, “And most importantly, thank you for teaching them that’s [sic] it’s always the right time to do the right thing. Enjoy your birthday, old lady :).”
