Natalie Portman, 45, secretly welcomes baby number 3 with French producer boyfriend: Report

Natalie Portman has become a mother for the third time! The Oscar-winning actress has given birth to her third child, her first with partner French musician Tanguy Destable, according to new reports. The baby was born in August.

Natalie is already mom to son Aleph, 15, and daughter Amalia, 9, whom she shares with her ex-husband, director-choreographer Benjamin Millepied. 

Tanguy is an electronic music producer; he released his first album in 2015. He was previously in a 10-year relationship with his ex-wife, the actress Louise Bourgoin and is a father to two sons Étienne, born in April 2016, and Vadim, born in 2020.

Natalie, 45, first shared the news of her pregnancy with Harper’s Bazaar in April 2026, during her third trimester and revealed that she feels “lucky” and “grateful” to become a mother of three.”Tanguy and I are very excited,” she shared. “I’m just very grateful. I know it’s such a privilege and a miracle.”

“I grew up hearing about how hard it is to get pregnant. I have so many people I love who’ve had such a hard time with it that I want to be respectful around tat as well,” she continued.

“It’s such a beautiful, joyous thing, and it’s also not an easy thing. And so I know how lucky it is. I’m very aware, and I’m very grateful.”

Natalie also acknowledged that the opportunity to get pregnant when younger is not one she had “necessarily” grasped at the time, adding: “And knowing it’s probably the last time, I cherish every moment.”

“I have more energy than I thought I might,” she admitted of her third trimester, sharing that she was keeping active with swimming and gyrotonics – a holistic movement method that uses circular, spiraling motions and coordinated breathwork – while spending time with her two children.

Natalie and Tanguy were first linked in March 2025; they were pictured embracing during a romantic Parisian walk on their way to the Écoles Cinéma Club.

The Black Swan actress was previously married to dancer and choreographer Benjamin Millepied. They tied the knot in 2012, but it was reported in 2023 that the choreographer’s extramarital affair was the reason for the separation and divorce in 2024.

Natalie lived in Paris for two years during the early years of her marriage before she returned to the US. She moved back to Paris with her children in 2023.
