Robson stars alongside Jason Watkins in the cat-and-mouse thriller
The Game
Robson delivers a chilling performance in Channel 5âs cat-and-mouse thriller, The Game.Â
The story follows retired detective Huw (Jason Watkins), who becomes convinced that his new neighbour Patrick (Green) is the serial killer he failed to catch in the one case that still haunts him.
Robson was inspired by American serial killer Joseph James DeAngelo when preparing for the part.
Ahead of season one, the actor, who is âaddicted to true crimeâ, told HELLO! and other press: âIâm really interested in peopleâs MOs and destructive behaviour and how it destroys other people,â he said. âThere was only one man I looked at: Joseph James DeAngelo, the original night stalker in LA.
âHe would go into peopleâs houses and leave the door open, or he would put an ornament from another house in their house and just mess with peopleâs minds. Heâd wait two weeks before heâd go back in and do it again.â
Season one was hailed as âsuperbâ by viewers upon its release in 2025. The show is set to return with a second series, and after the final episodeâs dramatic cliffhanger, weâre counting down the days until the new episodes arrive.Â
