Bri Thomas, one of the mothers of “Love Is Blind” star Tyler Francis’ three kids, claimed they had their “unplanned” twins naturally.
On Saturday, Thomas took to Instagram to share multiple videos addressing Francis’ alleged relationship with their three kids after he confessed to his fiancée, Ashley Adionser, on the hit Netflix show that he was a sperm donor for the children and that he had never seen the minor kids.
“In regards to our oldest child, Kyreaux, Tyler was initially only supposed to be helping me and my ex-wife. He was helping us conceive,” she claimed.
“It was understood that Tyler was not supposed to assume a father role in Kyreaux’s life.”
Thomas, 34, said Francis stepped into a father-like role for the 7-year-old after her ex-wife left her and moved back to California.
“Tyler, as my best friend, was there for me, helping me through this extremely, extremely tough time in my life. And for that, I’ll always be thankful for him,” Thomas said.
“One day, I received a text from Tyler and he asked me if I would be OK with him being a father to Kyreaux because he did not want Kyreaux to be raised by a single mother, as he had. We had a deep discussion about what that would mean for him to be stepping up as a father to Kyreaux and what it would look like as far as financial responsibility, helping out, being an active parent in his life, being present,” the mom of three claimed.
Thomas said she agreed to Francis’ alleged proposition and claimed from that moment on he “acted as a father” to Kyreaux.
However, Thomas, who identified as lesbian, claimed she and the reality star became sexually involved and their 5-year-old twins, Kali and Kamari, were conceived before their older brother turned 1.
“Kali and Kamari, are the results of natural, unplanned intercourse with absolutely no complexities surrounding parentage,” she claimed.
“They were conceived before Kyreaux turned 1, and I admit, fully admit I have not always been the most comfortable with that truth due to the fact that I’ve lived the majority of my life as a lesbian.”
Thomas claimed Francis “was there with me” throughout the pregnancy and births of the twins and they were even living together.
“He was there throughout my entire pregnancy at the time. And the delivery and throughout my entire stay in the hospital after birth,” she claimed.
“He signed the birth certificate. He cut the umbilical cord. His mom and sister came and visited me in the hospital, visited us in the hospital after the twins were born. Again, there has never been any confusion or additional context surrounding the twins’ origin.”
Thomas claimed she, Francis and the kids lived as a family of five but they had an understanding that they could date other people.
The former basketball player said she supported Francis’ decision to go on “Love Is Blind” but said she was disheartened to find out that he initially kept his kids a secret and “disowned” them.
“I can’t wrap my head around why he felt the best way to do that would be to cut off the kids. Then, to make matters worse, lie on national television and say they’re merely sperm babies and they don’t know what he looks like,” she said.
“That all hurts. I understand. This is for everyone’s entertainment. But this is our real lives. And, you know, it sucks. It really sucks.”
As a result of Francis’ public actions, Thomas said she “lost” her best friend and that the kids have been “disowned and at this point disrespected by their father.”
“I just pray every single day that they don’t grow up and see any of this and just ready for it all to be over and praying that at some point I start getting the financial support that I feel like we are owed,” she concluded.
Page Six reached out to Francis for comment on Thomas’ claims but did not immediately hear back.
Francis proposed to Adionser sight unseen on Season 7 of the hit dating show, which premiered on Netflix earlier this month.
Two weeks before the couple was set to walk down the aisle, Francis told his fiancée that he fathered three kids for his friends, who were a lesbian couple.
However, he downplayed the role he actually played in the kids’ lives.
