The alleged mother of Elon Musk’s 13th child, Ashley St. Clair, has lashed out after X’s AI technology, Grok, created X-rated images of her.
Speaking to Inside Edition in an interview airing on Friday, January 9, St. Clair described being left feeling “disgusted and violated” after the images were allegedly generated.
“I got a text from a friend, right after I put my son to sleep, so I was like, ‘Oh my God, what could this be now?’ And I found that Grok was undressing me and it had taken a fully clothed photo of me. Someone asked it to put me in a bikini and it did,” she said.
St. Clair continued, “These are real images of me that they then took and had them undress me. So, they found a photo of me when I was 14 years old and had Grok undress 14-year-old me and put me in a bikini.”
The writer and political strategist explained she demanded X remove the images and had mixed results.
St. Clair said that some of the artificially created images were removed quickly while others took “36 hours” to be taken down. However, St. Clair claimed that “others are still up.”
Inside Edition’s Eva Pilgrim asked St. Clair directly if Musk, 54, knew these images were being created by Grok and shared via X and if so, whether he was doing anything to stop or prevent the issue.
“It seems he’s aware of the issue,” St. Clair responded. “That’s a great question people should ask him.”
While Musk did not comment during the Inside Edition interview, he previously replied to an X user on January 4 who expressed concerns about Grok generating these types of images.
“Anyone using Grok to make illegal content will suffer the same consequences as if they upload illegal content,” Musk wrote via X.

St. Clair made headlines in February 2025 when she announced Musk’s alleged paternity of her baby boy, Romulus, claiming her son was the Tesla founder’s 13th child. (Shivon Zilis announced the birth of Musk’s 14th child later that same month.)
“Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father,” St. Clair wrote via X. “I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause.”
The following month, Musk addressed St. Clair’s paternity claims and a subsequent legal battle against him without confirming whether he was her son’s biological father.
“I don’t know if the child is mine or not but am not against finding out. No court order is needed,” he wrote via X. Musk then claimed, “Despite not knowing for sure, I have given Ashley $2.5M and am sending her $500K/year.”
St. Clair responded to Musk’s comments via her own message via X the same month.
“Elon, we asked you to confirm paternity through a test before our child (who you named) was even born. You refused,” she alleged at the time. “And you weren’t sending *me* money, you were sending support for your child that you thought was necessary … until you withdrew most of it to maintain control and punish me for ‘disobedience.’ But you’re really only punishing your son.”
In addition to allegedly fathering St. Clair’s son, Musk is the biological father of 13 other children. He welcomed six kids with his ex-wife, Justine Musk, three with musician Grimes and four with technology executive Zillis.
