Cooper Koch is off the market — but not legally.

In a new interview, the breakout star of “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story” explained why he wears a wedding ring despite not being married.

After Andy Cohen noticed the gold band on Koch’s finger on SiriusXM’s “Andy Cohen Live” Wednesday, the actor, 28, shared that it has been a staple accessory since he attended the 2024 Emmy Awards in September to support his twin brother, Payton Koch, who was nominated for editing “Only Murders in the Building.”

“We were getting ready, and I didn’t have any jewelry on. And I was with my boyfriend, and we went into my room, and I was looking through my jewelry, and I had this ring that was my grandfather’s, and I was like, ‘Oh, I should just wear this ring,’” he recalled.

“And then we just put it on my ring finger, and it just kind of became this little, like, I don’t know, romantic, protective mechanism.”

Cooper admitted he knew the ring would get some attention, saying with a smile, “I just wanted to, like, trip people out a little bit and see what they would say.”

The “Swallowed” star clarified that while his mystery beau does not wear a ring, they are “very much committed” to each other.

“We have talked about that, and we do need to get him a ring, but [mine is] really more of just, like, a nice totem,” he added.

Cooper first announced that he was in a relationship while appearing on Cohen’s late-night Bravo show, “Watch What Happens Live,” earlier this week.

When a viewer called in Monday to ask whether Cooper was single, the Los Angeles-born star replied, “I do a boyfriend, so … sorry!”

Cooper also revealed on “WWHL” that he did, in fact, bare all in his full-frontal “Monsters” shower scene.

“Mine was not a prosthetic,” he blurted out before joking that he is “hung.”
