Miranda Lambert Jokes That She’ll Hide Her ‘Unattractive Parts’ After Being Trolled for Wearing Leggings

Miranda Lambert is taking negative comments in stride.

The country star shared a series of photos and videos to Instagram on Feb. 28, including footage of herself and others doing yoga with goats. She wore leggings to the outing, and one commenter took it upon themself to share their disapproval — so she responded.

Underneath Lambert’s post, the person wrote, “Yikes, legging type pants are not attractive on people with a little extra here and there. They don’t do you any favors.”

“You are too beautiful to display the unattractive parts,” added the commenter. “I’m not a fan of leggings on anyone, actually. I’ve seen way more of a person’s business than I wanted to. 🐪”

Lambert screenshotted the comment and shared it to her Instagram Stories, writing alongside the critical note, “Good to know! I’ll do better about displaying my ‘unattractive parts.'”

Most other fans, however, were far more supportive in the comments section. “I wanna be as cool as you when I grow up,” wrote one user.

“You’re beautiful! When I took that goat photo I just kept clicking because you looked so happy and just having fun,” commented another fan. “Glad you liked it.”

“Love you for being you,” said a third person.

Lambert isn’t afraid of responding to a negative comment. Earlier this month, she shared a video of herself reading mean comments about her joining Morgan Wallen as an opening act on his upcoming I’m the Problem Tour.

“I appreciate that y’all aren’t afraid to hold back 😂,” she captioned the clip, which she titled: “Mean Tweets: Morgan Wallen Tour Edition.”

“Hm, team Miranda forever, but this comes as a shock,” one commenter wrote, while another chimed in, “This ain’t it, sis.”

“I’m so disappointed in both of you, may God forgive you both,” another fan said. “We’re really doing bad on this tour, Morgan,” Lambert quipped.

“WTF, I don’t see Texas on here,” one fan said, referring to the tour dates for Wallen’s 19 shows. Lambert, who’s from Texas, did acknowledge it “sucks” she won’t perform on the tour in her native state.

Someone else questioned why Lambert hadn’t won entertainer of the year — despite her taking home the trophy at the ACM Awards in 2022 — and why she wasn’t headlining the shows.

“I’m so confused why you haven’t been entertainer of the year the last several years,” they said. “I’m further confused on why you’d be opening for anyone. You should be the headliner. What’s going on?”

The final comment Lambert read was simply a pained groan. “Thanks for the support,” she jokingly concluded the video.
