Michelle Pfeiffer infused her sartorial agenda with 90s chic for the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards at Peacock Theater. The actress took to Instagram following the event to share a closer-up look at her stylish appearance.

The snaps captured the star posing in her hotel room clad in Saint Laurent from head-to-toe. Michelle wore a black silk gown that featured long-sleeves and a v-neck design. The garment was adorned at the centre with an embellished sunburst brooch that boasted ruched detailing along the waist. She accessorized the look with twisted lead hoop earrings, a chunky gold metal cuff, and an evening soft clutch in satin.

Michelle Pfeiffer’s beauty agenda

The actress previously opened up about her beauty philosophy in an interview on Lorraine back in 2021. “It’s what nobody really wants to hear – you have to eat right, you have to exercise, you have to sleep,” she shared.

“We’re always looking for that cheating magical bullet but it’s not right.”

She continued: “When I’m not working, when I’m giving myself leeway, when I’m not eating good, I’m having too much wine, when I’m not on camera, I look like it, that’s really it. So that’s the big secret – there’s no secret!”

“The older I’ve gotten, the easier it’s become,” she also told Oprah Daily. “You reach a threshold where you’re fine with looking good for your age instead of looking young for your age, and I’ve crossed it.”Would I like to look the way I did in my early 30s? You bet, but that’s not going to happen, and I don’t feel the same pressure I once did to do so. It’s quite a relief, honestly.”

Michelle embraces her natural beauty

The actress founded her beauty brand Henry Rose in 2019. After the success of the fragrances, the brand – which only uses clean ingredients – branched out into body creams, candles, and diffusers.

“I started this brand because, as a consumer, I was so stressed about having to constantly navigate these confusing lists of ingredients and trying to find products that I felt were safe and also performed,” she previously told InStyle.

“There are moments and then there are moments,” Michelle said of her brand during an interview on the Today Show. “This is kind of a moment. I do have a lot going on, and when I started my fragrance company, which we’re going on seven years this year since we launched, I wasn’t working a lot and I didn’t foresee that in my future. Yet I’m the kind of person who needs to feel passionate about what I’m doing and have a purpose in the morning.”
