Michelle Pfeiffer is busier than ever, leading Apple TV’s Margo’s Got Money Troubles while also starring in Taylor Sheridan’s upcoming drama The Madison on Paramount+. However, her current hectic work schedule was not something that she foresaw for her future several years ago.

During an interview with Willie Geist on the April 10 instalment of the TODAY Show, Michelle opened up about her current career-defining moments along with her entrepreneurial endeavours with her fragrance line, Henry Rose. “There are moments and then there are moments,” she said.

“This is kind of a moment. I do have a lot going on, and when I started my fragrance company, which we’re going on seven years this year since we launched, I wasn’t working a lot and I didn’t foresee that in my future. Yet I’m the kind of person who needs to feel passionate about what I’m doing and have a purpose in the morning.”

Michelle continued: “And I woke up one morning on New Year’s Day and was like, ‘What’s your year going to look like and what are you passionate about, what’s going to make you excited?’ And I always had this idea of developing a fragrance that I couldn’t find, which was a beautiful, fine fragrance that was also safer than other things on the market. And I had stopped wearing fragrance for 10 years because of that, and I missed it.”

The actress founded Henry Rose in 2019. After the success of the fragrances, the brand – which only uses clean ingredients – branched out into body creams, candles, and diffusers.

“I started this brand because, as a consumer, I was so stressed about having to constantly navigate these confusing lists of ingredients and trying to find products that I felt were safe and also performed,” she previously told InStyle.

Margo’s Got Money Troubles

Adapted from Rufi Thorpe’s best-selling novel of the same name, the story follows an aspiring writer trying to make her way in the world with a new baby. The eight-parter is created by multi-Emmy Award-winner David E. Kelley, and stars Michelle alongside Elle Fanning, Nicole Kidman, and Nick Offerman.

The series, which is produced by A24, is described as a “bold, heartwarming, and comedic family drama” that follows recent college dropout and aspiring writer, Margo, who is the daughter of an ex-Hooters waitress and ex-pro wrestler.

The Apple Original series will premiere globally on Wednesday April 15, 2026. The first three episodes will be available immediately, followed by the release of new episodes weekly on Wednesdays. The final instalment will be released on May 20, 2026.
