Michelle Keegan appeared radiant and undeniably chic on Monday afternoon, as she headed to The Soho Hotel for a photocall for her new drama, The Blame.

The mother-of-one wore a sky-blue satin shirt alongside a pair of caramel-toned leather trousers, which she teamed with toffee-coloured YSL heels. She wore her famed brunette tresses loose and lightly curled, and finished with a gold necklace by Van Cleef & Arpels.

Her appearance comes as reports suggest she pulled out of another ITV drama. The Sun claimed that the 39-year-old abandoned a lead role in a “big-budget production” about a working-class barrister.

The publication said that the actress had supposedly committed to the drama and that a filming date had been planned before she pulled out, citing that she wanted to focus on her family life with her daughter, Palma.

However, ITV told Digital Spy: “Early conversations occurred, but Michelle was never contracted, so it’s incorrect to say she pulled out.”

Michelle the working mother

On trying to navigate her busy career and motherhood, the Our Girl actress told Grazia in 2025, ahead of giving birth: “I’m going to take a good chunk of time off to enjoy being a mum. I’m never normally at home in the summer; I’ve always been away working, so I can’t wait.”

She later spoke candidly with host Graham Norton about the reality of life as a working mother at the ITV Showcase 2026, admitting it was “quite daunting.”

Speaking fondly about her work on The Blame, she said: “The production was so supportive, and I was so looked after, and it was like working with family.”

Mark Wright is a proud dad and husband

Former TOWIE star Mark, who married Michelle in 2015, made a rare comment about fatherhood to his friend Olly Murs on his Heart radio show in 2025. Speaking of the new, unmatched joy of becoming a dad, he said: “It’s the biggest achievement of my life; it’s all I think about.”

Mark also gave a huge amount of praise to Michelle. “Obviously hats go off to my wife; she is an absolute superhuman, a superhero for bringing this baby into the world.” The Heart FM radio host continued: “It makes you realise what our mums did for us and makes me have so much more respect than I already had and for what women have to go through.”
