Michael Rapaport isn’t impressed with what some viewers are saying about his experience on The Traitors.
Hours after the first three episodes of season 4 premiered on Peacock, fans quickly took to social media to share their first impressions of the cast.
“The entire cast of Traitors can’t STAND Michael Rappaport!” TikTok user Dustin Cone captioned his TikTok video on Friday, January 9. “Glad more people outside of Bravo fans can see how ANNOYING this dude is.”
In the clip, Cone also added, “There’s a whole new audience starting to see how annoying this man is. He always needs to be the main character, the main point of view.”
Lo and behold, Rapaport, 55, saw the video and decided to clap back.
“GIRL, you’ll be ok Girl,” he wrote in the comments section.
His response came just hours after he took to Instagram and expressed how excited he was that season 4 was finally here.
“I’m pumped to watch it. I’m such a fan of the show,” Rapaport said via an Instagram video on Thursday, January 8. “Usually, my wife and I sit down in front of the TV for the premiere. We watch it with some pasta and then some ice cream. I don’t know what we’re going to do now that I’m on it.”
The “Rapaports Reality” podcast host also asked his followers to share what they think of the cast as the drama heats up.
“Traitor Nation: I never thought I’d be saying those words. What is up Traitor Nation? How are you guys feeling?” he asked. “Are you enjoying it so far? What do you think of the Traitors? What do you think of the Faithfuls? What do you think of the outfits? What do you think of me?”
Spoiler alert: The fans didn’t hold back.
“Love you!!!😂,” one fan wrote in the comments section, while a hater commented, “Praying you go home first 🙏.”
Hosted by Alan Cumming, The Traitors features a group of contestants participating in a game similar to Mafia in which a small group are the designated “Traitors” and must work together to eliminate the “Faithfuls” with a grand prize of $250,000 on the line.
Over time, the “Faithfuls” have to discover and banish the “Traitors” by majority vote in order to win.
This season features a star-studded cast, including Dancing With the Stars pro Mark Ballas, The Bachelor’s Colton Underwood, Olympian Tara Lipinski and Donna Kelce.
Several Bravolebrities are also part of the cast, such as Lisa Rinna, Dorinda Medley, Candiace Dillard Bassett and Porsha Williams.
Before starring on The Traitors, Rapaport found success as a comedian and actor, with roles in movies like Cop Land, Deep Blue Sea and The Heat. He has also appeared on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen several times to share his hot takes on Bravo’s biggest shows, including the Real Housewives franchise.
