Months after launching her global coalition, First Lady Melania Trump will convene leaders from 45 nations for Fostering the Future Together’s inaugural meeting. The two-day Global Coalition Summit is set to begin at the U.S. Department of State on March 24 and end with a roundtable at the White House on March 25.

“It is the first time in history that U.S. First Lady is hosting representatives from 45 nations at the White House in a single day,” the Office of the First Lady said in a press release. “This is unprecedented, and Fostering the Future Together’s model further supports First Lady Melania Trump’s pursuit of action-oriented diplomacy on the global stage.”

The coalition’s member nations include France, Poland, Panama, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, Lithuania, Nigeria, Paraguay, Saudia Arabia, Aruba, Morocco, Kenya and Israel. In addition to leaders, technology companies like OpenAI, Microsoft, xAI, Meta, Palantir Adobe, Google and Zoom Communications will also be participating in the summit.

Mrs. Trump announced the coalition in September on the sidelines of the 80th United Nations General Assembly. Queen Rania of Jordan and Olena Zelenska, the First Lady of Ukraine, were on hand for the reception in New York City.

“I’m establishing Fostering the Future Together, a global coalition of nations committed to [the] well-being of children through the promotion of education, innovation and technology,” Melania said in remarks at the launch event. “Fostering the Future Together’s mission is to ensure that every child can flourish in the digital era.”

Members of the coalition will include first spouses from around the world. In her documentary Melania, Mrs. Trump was filmed speaking with France’s First Lady Brigitte Macron, revealing that her next goal was to establish a coalition and work with “like-minded leaders.” “When we do, I hope you will join me,” Melania said, to which Brigitte replied: “With pleasure. I go everywhere with you. No problem. Because we are connected on many [subjects].”

Fostering the Future Together builds upon the first lady’s Be Best platform, which President Donald Trump‘s wife started in 2018 during his first term.
