Suiting up. Meghan Markle is reportedly eyeing a return to acting as she and husband Prince Harry prepare to move back to England.
Variety confirmed the potential career update on Friday.
The report comes after Australian outlet News.com.au reported that Markle has been âoffered a role in an upcoming project based in the UK.â
A source exclusively told Page Six, âThere have been inquiries in the entertainment space recently and things she is considering but nothing is confirmed right now.â
Page Six has reached out to Markleâs rep for comment.
Markle is best known for her breakout role as Rachel Zane in the legal drama âSuits,â which she starred in for seven seasons from 2011 to 2018.Â
She also appeared in several popular films including âRemember Meâ and âHorrible Bosses.â
In 2017, amid her historic engagement to Prince Harry, Markle confirmed her decision to step back from her work in Hollywood to focus on royal life.
âItâs a new chapter, right?â she said of leaving her role on âSuitsâ while looking ahead to a new life.
âIâve ticked this box, and I feel very proud of the work Iâve done there, and now itâs time to work with [Harry] as a team,â she added.
Markle made her final appearance on the Season 7 finale of the legal drama series in April 2018 â a month before she tied the knot with Harry in a lavish UK ceremony.
After a few years of married life and welcoming their two children, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, Markle launched her lifestyle show, âWith Love, Meghan,â on Netflix in March 2025.
The series ran for two seasons, but in January, Page Six exclusively revealed that it wouldnât return for a third.
In November 2025, eight years after she stepped back from the big screen, Page Six reported that Markle was making her big return to acting.
She is set to make a cameo as herself in the upcoming Amazon MGM comedy âClose Personal Friendsâ with Brie Larson and Lily Collins.
âThis is a massive moment for Meghan and signifies a return to doing what she truly loves,â a source from the Amazon MGM Studios production told the Sun at the time, noting that the mom of two âhas been swamped with offers but this one felt right.â
âIt is Meghanâs way of gently putting her toe back in the water and seeing how she enjoys being back on set,â the insider continued. âEveryone involved is super-excited, and have been sworn to secrecy about her involvement.â
As for Harry, the source divulged that he was âreally supportiveâ of her decision and âquite simply wants Meghan to do whatever brings her joy.â
On Wednesday, Page Six confirmed that the pair will return to the UK at the end of the month for âan extended period.â
The move comes six years after they announced they were stepping away from their duties as âseniorâ members of the royal family and moving to Montecito, California, in a move dubbed âMegxit.â
âThe palace was made aware of the move,â a source told us, noting that King Charles III was told on Sunday that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would be returning to Britain.
âI know that Charles is the reason they are moving back,â an insider told Page Six.
