Meghan Markle has delighted fans with a rare glimpse of family life, sharing a sweet video of her son Prince Archie, hitting the slopes. In the adorable clip, the six-year-old can be seen following in the footsteps of his father, Prince Harry, as he confidently skis down a snow-covered run with the royal dad close by.
Proud mum Meghan couldn’t hide her joy, captioning the moment: “My boys. Quick learner, Archie! So proud [heart emoji].”
The impressive ski lesson footage comes just a day after Meghan was spotted shopping for toys for Archie and his sister Princess Lilibet, at a local store in Montecito on Wednesday.
With two young children, Archie, six, and Lilibet, four, family occasions such as Easter are no doubt a special time in their household.
This isn’t the first time Meghan has taken her children on a skiing holiday. Back in March 2024, the former Suits star enjoyed a snowy getaway with close friends Heather Dorak and Kelly McKee Zajfen, alongside Archie and Lilibet.
The group travelled to Powder Mountain Ski Resort, where they were pictured enjoying time on the slopes against a stunning mountain backdrop.
Harry’s love of skiing is well documented. In his memoir Spare, released in 2023, he revealed he has “always loved skiing” and described himself as “good” at it.
Harry’s love of fatherhood
The Duke has also spoken candidly about how much fatherhood means to him. In a 2022 interview with NBC, Harry was asked what he loved most about being a father, to which he responded, “All of it.”
He said: “‘I love it. I love every part of it. I’ve always wanted to be a dad. I’ve always wanted to have my own kids and now I have got two little people who I’m responsible for.”
In September, Harry spoke exclusively to HELLO! at the WellChild Awards in London after flying in from California. He said: “I think once you become a parent yourself, everything changes. It’s emotional enough not being a parent and seeing what these families go through, but then when you have your own kids or when you’re expecting your own kids, that’s when it really hits you.”
Recalling the moving moment when he welled up at the 2018 Awards, when he and his wife, Meghan, were expecting their firstborn, Archie, he added: “And I remember one of these years, I choked up on stage, and that was exactly it. I am so grateful to have healthy kids.”
