Talk about a royal welcome.
Madame Tussauds hilariously placed suitcases and a Royal Guard wax figure next to their wax figures of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle inside their museum in London, England.
The pointed update comes days after Page Six confirmed that the couple will be returning to the UK at the end of the month for âan extended period.â
Fans in the comments section loved the additions made by the famed exhibit on Friday.
âLove this for them,â one wrote, with another adding, âNo place like home đ.â
A third commented, âWhat an excellent move.â
However, others voiced their dismay over the coupleâs move back to England, six years after stepping away from their duties as âseniorâ members of the royal family and moving to Montecito, California.
âIâm sure the UK is going to welcome these 2 failures back with open arms,â one netizen sarcastically commented.
Another social media user labeled the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as âgrifters.â
Since Harry and Markleâs move was made public, fellow stars have been questioning their intentions since the couple openly spoke out against the royal family in the years following their move to the US.
Don Lemon poked fun at the their shocking decision in a Wednesday Instagram video.
âWhat? What is going on here?â the journalist asked his followers while highlighting headlines about the Duke and Duchess of Sussexâs bombshell choice.
âCome on, make up yâallâs mind,â he quipped.
Meghan McCain also ripped into the âD-list royalsâ after the announcement.
âOne thing about Americans is we can see through bullsât and we donât like entitled grifters,â the former âViewâ host tweeted.
âThey could never hack it here and truly no one gives a sât about D-list royals,â she added. âGood luck to our friends in the UK, theyâre your problem now.â
Additionally, some of Harry and Markleâs Montecito neighbors exclusively told Page Six that they are âthrilledâ the two are moving back to his homeland.
âMontecito is a very private, peaceful place, and I think a lot of people here will be happy to see things go back to being a little quieter,â the source explained.
On Wednesday, sources told us that âthe palace was made aware of the moveâ and that Harryâs father, King Charles III, âis the reason they are moving back,â as he is currently battling cancer.
Our source added that while Charles âlooks forwardâ to spending more time with his son and daughter-in-law, their role and status as private individuals and ânon-working membersâ of the royal family will not change.
Charles, notably, is strict about upholding his late mother Queen Elizabeth IIâs rule of âno half-in, half-out optionâ for working royals.
We are also told that the two will live in âa non-royal residence,â where they will âcontinue with their business enterprises.â
On Friday, Page Six learned that Markle is eyeing a return to acting once they start their life in the UK.
