Although Prince Harry is currently in New York City, the Duke of Sussex has been spending the past few days with Meghan Markle and her best friend, Kelly McKee Zajfen.
Kelly has known Meghan for over two decades, and after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex returned to the United Kingdom last month, she made sure to be one of her first friends to pay a visit.
Kelly posted a carousel of her time in England with Meghan and Harry, sharing several sweet images of the royal couple with her baby son, Jack, who was born back in March.
In one photo, Meghan could be seen holding Jack while enjoying time in a local pub, while another snap saw Harry and little Jack playing on the floor of a gorgeous house. Meghan also featured in another photo, bashfully hiding her face while enjoying a drink with her bestie.
In a lengthy caption, Kelly penned: “Having the best time. There’s something so special about getting a taste of this magical place with my bestie, and having my sweet Jack along for the adventure.
“I’ve loved seeing this sweet chapter through her eyes and daily adventures! Especially getting to experience so many little firsts with Jack by my side. Family time is just what the heart ordered. With a side of mashed peas and fish n chips! All of it has filled my heart.”
She continued: “You’ve been so good to us. We’re leaving with full hearts and definitely leaving a piece of ours here. To everyone we’ve met or bumped into, thank you for being so loving to my friend. It’s been beautiful to witness. She missed you too! Cheerio!”
Fans were quick to comment, as one said: “Glad to see Meg is happy. Hope the Netflix show comes back! Britain is beautiful and glad you had a beautiful adventure with your son!”

Kelly and Meghan’s friendship
Kelly and Meghan first became friends two decades ago, and they first met when Meghan’s ex-husband, Trevor Engelson, introduced her to his friend, Kelly’s husband.
The pair became fast friends, and the Duchess of Sussex has supported Kelly through the most challenging time in her life. Tragically, Kelly’s son George passed away in July 2022 after being found unresponsive in their home; he is survived by his twin sister, Lily.
Last September, they teamed up to raise money for children in foster care in honour of George with a tennis tournament.
Kelly wrote on Instagram that the “incredible day” was “full of emotions and lots of love”; she explained that the money from the event would “go directly to supporting children in foster care, ensuring they have the legal protections, resources and opportunities they deserve in honour of [their] beautiful son Georgie.”
