During the episode, Stone whips out the same chocolate mousse with whiskey that he served her on that day — a gesture that moved the mom of two to tears.
“To be honest, this is the moment I knew you were the one,” she recalled.

In her upcoming memoir, Be Ready When the Luck Happens, Ina opens up for the first time about a rough patch she and Jeffrey hit in their marriage in the 1970s while she was running her Barefoot Contessa store in New York’s Hamptons and he was working in Washington D.C.
“There were certain roles that we played, and I found them really annoying,” Ina told PEOPLE. “I felt that if I just hit the pause button, I would get his attention.”

“He was that determined to convince me he was serious about making our marriage work,” she writes.
