Robert De Niro became a dad for the seventh time thanks to his partner Tiffany Chen.
The couple, who have been romantically linked since 2021, welcomed their first daughter together, Gia, in 2023.
In addition to the three-year-old, the Killers of the Flower Moon actor, 83, has six other children; he shares daughter Drena and son Raphael with first wife Diahnne Abbott, twins Julian and Airyn with former girlfriend Toukie Smith, and son Elliot and daughter Helen Grace with ex-wife Grace Hightower.

Who is Tiffany Chen?
Little is known about Tiffany, who is reportedly around 41 to 46 years old, and leads a largely private life.
Her father is William C.C. Chen, a Grandmaster of Yang-style Tai Chi ch’uan, and according to an archived website bio, she “took up ballet, Hula dance, swimming and gymnastics at age five,” and she was was inducted into Inside Kung-Fu magazine’s Hall of Fame as Competitor of the Year when she was 26 years old, in 2011.
What does Tiffany do?
Tiffany has worked as both an actress and a martial arts instructor with dozens of gold medals and world titles.
She has two acting credits, 2015’s The Intern, which starred Robert, as well as 2023’s Hard Miles.
How did Tiffany and Robert meet?
Tiffany and Robert reportedly met in 2015, when she appeared in the Nancy Meyers film The Intern as a Tai Chi instructor who helped Robert’s character.
It wasn’t until 2021 however that the pair was romantically linked, when they were spotted holding hands while vacationing in the South of France that August. They were seen walking side-by-side towards a yacht owned by Robert’s billionaire business partner James Packer, where they were later spotted kissing.
Their most recent public appearance was at the CHANEL TriBeCa Festival Artists Dinner on June 8, 2026.
Tiffany was diagnosed with Bell’s palsy
Shortly after welcoming Gia in 2023, Tiffany revealed to CBS’ Gayle King that she “lost all facial function,” which was later revealed to be Bell’s palsy, which happens when the facial nerve becomes swollen or inflamed, though luckily people start to get better within a few weeks, recovering to full strength in three to six months.
“[My tongue] felt a little tingly, just starting to get a little bit numb. And then I realized my face just felt weird. I didn’t know what the feeling was that I was having. It felt weird,” she said at the time, adding: “When I got home, it was like everything was starting to just fall down on itself. Like, my face was melting on itself.”
