Meet Kiss star Gene Simmons’ two kids — who are both musicians

Nick, born in 1989, grew up going to KISS concerts and walking red carpets with his dad, and he also regularly appeared on the family’s reality TV show, Gene Simmons Family Jewels, which aired from 2006 to 2012.

He was a student at California’s Pitzer College, where he studied world literature as well as English.

Post-graduation, he released a comic book with three issues called Incarnate. He’s also contributed to outlets such as Huffington Post, Galore Magazine, Elite Daily, Vice and Esquire over the years.

Nick began his solo career in the music industry in 2014, and in 2019, he co-created an anonymous band with Vinnie Ferra, called Sym Fera. In 2024, the identities behind Sym Fera were revealed. 

In 2022, Nick performed alongside the band Wolfmother during their tour in Australia.

In 2024, Nick covered “The Sound of Silence,” with Evan Stanley and the following year, they released their single “Body Down.”

Nick has also dabbled in acting, having appeared in Starry Eyes and Awkward and he served as a voiceover artist for the show Robot Chicken.

Just like her brother, Sophie, born in 1992, also participated in the family’s reality TV show. 

She later went to California’s Pitzer College, where she studied computer science before she switched her path to singing.

In 2012, she auditioned for The X Factor, however, she didn’t make it past the Bootcamp phase.

She put out her debut single three years later called “Kiss Me.” In 2018, she released her songs “Burn Me Down,” as well as “Black Mirror.”

The performer was also featured on “Love Sick” with Alan Walker.

Sophie revealed to People in 2018: “I was always writing songs my whole life, but it wasn’t something I considered doing as a career just because it was what my family did, and I didn’t want to be compared. I wanted to be my own person. But you can’t help what you’re passionate [about].”

On top of music, she launched her own fashion line called TheStyleClub, and she is a jewelry designer for the brand Diamondere.

Sophie is also very passionate about child advocacy, creating the non-profit organization called Sophie’s Place.
