Maya Hawke was the epitome of bridal beauty on 14 February as she was spotted on the streets of New York City, having wed singer-songwriter Christian Lee Hutson. The Stranger Things actress, 27, looked breathtaking as she was spotted on her way to her reception at The Players, a private members club in Gramercy Park, after saying her vows at George’s Episcopal on Stuyvesant Square in Manhattan.
The star opted for a beautiful white satin gown, the designer of which is yet to be disclosed, with a classic boat neckline, drop hemline for a more elongated look, and a bow on the front.

The skirt had a beautiful frothy effect thanks to the layers of tulle underneath. The full-length number was paired with a billowing white veil, which was secured in her voluminous updo, and the bride also wore white stilettos with a pointed toe.

“It’s giving real-life Carrie Bradshaw! I absolutely love the layers. It feels very modern couture, with the timeless neckline that creates an expensive and intentional look,” she tells us. “It looks like a vintage piece when teamed with her minimal hair and makeup. It’s a strong, dramatic style without feeling too princess.”

Maya and Christian tie the knot in NYC
The wedding was truly a family affair as she tied the knot in the presence of her A-list parents – Pulp Fiction actress Uma Thurman and Dead Poets Society star Ethan Hawke, both 55.

They have kept a low profile but were photographed together in April 2025 as they headed out to support Sadie Sink, who made her adult Broadway debut in John Proctor Is the Villain at the Booth Theater. Fans spotted her wearing a ring in early 2025, though she never publicly confirmed her engagement.

Currently, Maya is keeping the details of her bridal designer to herself. However, she may have harked back to her own 2023 Met Gala look when she chose her picture-perfect bridal gown, though the star never envisioned the dress she ended up wearing to her Valentine’s Day nuptials.

“Karl Lagerfeld was known for doing wedding dresses in his couture shows, and this felt like a really perfect moment for us to do something very creative and fun and see what Prada’s version of a wedding dress would be,” the stylist told Vogue. “We looked through past collections and shows and used that to influence what a Prada wedding dress would look like.”
