Maya Hawke is loving the newlywed phase.

The “Stranger Things” actress told Page Six exclusively that she was “ecstatically happy” nearly a month after marrying Christian Lee Hutson in a surprise wedding.

“I mean
love is the best,” she told us Thursday at the SXSW 2026 world premiere of her new film, “Wishful Thinking.”

“And like, you know, even to connect it to [the characters in ‘Wishful Thinking’], if I had any advice for Charlie and Julia, it would be that they found a way to be more honest with each other about how they feel,” Hawke added.

“Because I really — I feel so lucky to have found my best friend and to have someone I can tell anything to. It makes something like getting married feel like, oh, of course, you know, not like what, and I’m very, very, very lucky, so I’m really happy.”

Hawke, 27, and Hutson, 35, tied the knot in a surprise Valentine’s Day wedding held at St. George’s Episcopal Church in New York City last month.

The “Do Revenge” star looked stunning at the ceremony, wearing a vintage-style boatneck gown with a dropped waist, a bow and a layered skirt.

Maya’s famous parents, Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman, attended the star-studded nuptials, with the “Black Phone” star, 55, walking his daughter down the aisle.

The “Kill Bill” actress, also 55, looked gorgeous in “something blue” for the wedding, wearing an asymmetric floral Erdem gown and matching suede heels.

Maya’s “Stranger Things” castmates also came out in full force, including Finn Wolfhard, Joe Keery, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, Sadie Sink and Natalie Dyer.

Following the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests headed over to the reception at The Players Members Club, where they partied all night.

The “Inside Out 2” voice actress and the musician were friends for four years before they became romantically involved.

In 2023, the couple was snapped kissing in New York City.

Maya and Hutson made their red carpet debut in April 2025 at the opening night of the Broadway play “John Proctor Is the Villain” in New York City.

Following their wedding, the pair made their first public appearance as husband and wife at the 2026 Tibet House U.S. Benefit Concert in NYC.
